WU - Sonali is giving tips on how to deal with the hot weather - have lemon water, eat watermelon, drink cold water. She then discusses how they've been shooting for mehndi function for the past 2 days and there will be lots of twists and turns in this mehendi function.

reporter questions how small screen is very women oriented while big screen is dominated by male oriented roles, so how proud does she feel that she's on small screen and gets to explore her talent. Sonali replies that his comment to some extent is true but even BW is now producing women oriented movies including queen and jab we met which were focussed on women rather than men.
She mentions that the gender orientation of a drama/movie depends on the story of the drama/film = she thinks what the story demands is how the focus is maintained

reporter further questions the TV and movie medium - sonali thinks that one should not restrict themselves to a certain medium and should be ready to explore all kinds of work - each medium is successful in its own way. and mentions how film actors are exploring TV and vice versa.

Reporter then questions about her thoughts regarding sonu nigam's recent controversy relating to the azaan. Sonali replies that we are in no position to say who is right or wrong ... every individual has their own perception. Sonu put his opinion forward - some will agree and some will disagree - but everyone should respect all opinions and live peacefully with one another.

sonali says she got a lot of fame and recognition through Kaali - Ek Punar Avatar and aadhe adhoore as they were challenging characters and she enjoyed the experience. She ends the interview by saying she is happy when people appreciate her work and characters she plays on screen.

WU - This video has additional dialogue - beginning we see ranveer wanting suman to write her name on his hand with mehendi just like he has done and then he says that from now onwards he belongs to her. basically she does put her name on his hand and he says by doing this, she's written herself in his kismat forever.

Thank you so much Yuvi, for sharing the vid, and for the wu.
I hope Sonali wasn't diplomatic in Sonu's controversary. coz it hurt muslims. and caused a discomfort between muslims , such opinions aren't welcomed even if they come from legends like Sonu.

I think all celebs will be diplomatic in answering any question surrounding this controversy - i'd like to think if they had their way they'd choose not to comment on it, because either way (supporting sonu or not) there will be a group of people that will jump on them and criticise them so its best to refrain from commenting on the matter especially for other famous people. even their PR teams would advise them to do this.

thanks for sharing

and also agree with you yuvika
many people will try to take the diplomatic stance until they know the outcome of this controversy
as it has both the ability to harm or get support for that person's public image
