Wah! What an episode today (or at least the last 10 minutesš )
I'll get the first half's LOL-worthy moments out of the way first.
So, after Kamini and ACP are conveniently (or so he thinks) packed off, SSO asks for the party to continue š¤£ These Oberois, I tell you. Naachne ka bahana chaiye.
Next, SSO also doesn't want Mahi to come in fron tof the media. Why? Because stocks gir jayein ge š Of course. Stocks remain all peachy despite all the tamasha that has happened but they'll fall because of Mahi's appearance. š Chalo, it makes half sense, I guess.
Then, the half commando, half SWAT team emerges straight from the front door - of course, not somewhere from where the guests can see them. Of course NOT! š and we have an epic chase sequence with Mahi using the most obvious hiding places and this thakee hui SWAT team is still unable to spot him š
Anyway, I have to admit, that chewing gum idea was good. Even though it sounded hilarious on Twitter. š
I'll also mention the "Shivaay main hoon, chip idhar hai" moment that reminded me so much of Andaz Apna Apna, I legit LOL'ed hard in the middle of a serious scene. š¤£ It came complete with a crowd looking on from aik side to dusree side - like a table tennis match going on š¤£ Arrey bhai, just check who's wearing lens, na! Itna kia maslah hai?
That first O Jaana scene - it seemed pretty bleh the first time. Didn't understand why they inserted it there at first but it grows on you after repeat viewing because you know what's happening next. I wish they'd shortened it a bit, nevertheless.

Surbhi Chandana. YOU FREAKIN' BEAUTY!
How awesome was she today? She looked so stunningly tragic running across the top floor, down the stairs and across the hall Paro style? She seriously reminded me of Aishwariya because of how gorgeous she looked. It was as if, throughout the second half of the episode, a cloud of tragedy was looming over her - even after Mahi was conered. I think the makers took inspiration from that Devdas scene only. The cinematography was perfection, too. That entire sequence was a visual treat. And her acting? TOP NOTCH. You could see her helpless desperation. Like she was racing against time. AWESOMELY done š
My favourite scene though, has to be the one where she barges through the SWAT/commando team and stands half-protectively and half-challenging in front of Shivaay. They both looked so beautiful and picture PERFECT that I was majorly J. Kia yaar? Kyon dikhatey ho itnee perfection? Dil toot jaata hai mera š I loved the way she was holding his hands, too. Like a mother, trying to secure every inch of her child, while trying to control, him, too. So impeccably done.
Her dialogues, "Yeh mere patee hain. Yeh mere Shivaay hain...Main inkee patnee hoon. Patnee apne patee ko pehchan'ey main dhoka nahee kha saktee. Main kuch nahee jaantee...yeh mere patee hain"
My God. Seetee maroon ya tissue box dhoondho? š
LOOK. AT. THEM. OMG so perfect! It's breaking my heart
Precap: Okay so Anika is literally running against the bullet š¤£ and will make it to Shivaay on time. š¤£ CGI will crack you up, once again. Still, Surbhi's tragic face will save the scene, I'm sure.
P.S. Shivaay's pagdhi is horribly distracting.
