Sumo-'guess what!! I got it...finally i got it'
Pari-'really??wow..i haven't got mine till now.but i am happy for u..afterall u are such a nerd. So finally dream come true..graduation from White Water International University'
Sumo-'yesss...and don't worry u will get your's soon.we both will go together as always..Ok! then i have to go and tell me when u get it..i am sure you will get it. no need to get upset ok!! now cheer up!'
Pari-'hmmm...'

(Pari i know u will get it. I will not go alone to TERA...not at all) thought sumo.
just then nirmala (sumo's mom) enters in her room...
Nirmala-'what happened? Why u look so worried ??..Everything ok?? Is Pari not as much excited as u'
Sumo-'noo actually she didn't get her acceptance letter till now'
Nirmala-'oh! So that's the reason'
Sumo-'no i am not worried about that. i know she will get it and then she will be super excited about it and will be eating all my head'
Nirmala-'then what is it?'
Sumo-'i am just worried about TERA. I know it's a small place.but it's far away from here and we both will be there in a week all alone'
Nirmala-'u will not be alone.u both have each other'
Sumo-'but it's a new place for both of us'
Nirmala-'oh! Don't worry. i know my girls will cast their magic there also. And all the students will be from different countries and places,so all of u will be on the same page'
Sumo-'hmmm...hope everything goes right'
Nirmala-'it will. Now stop all this gibbering and pack up. Afterall u are going to live your dreams. so i guess u don't want to be late and also u will have to help Pari in her last minute packings'
_ _ _ _ _ _ after a Week_ _ _ _ _sunday morning_ _ _ _
ah! Finally we are in TERA and as expected Pari has not shut her mouth from the second she has got her letter. But fortunately this new place has provided me a defense mechanism against the continious blah...blah...of my best friend. due to the cold weather here my ears have become numb and so my hearing power has comparatively gone down and that's really helpful for me to tolerate her.i knew it would be cool here but it is a little more than i expected. TERA was a small town with forest covers on most of it's land, very little sunlight and cool weather. also it has many hospitals(and i don't know why because there are very less people here apart from the students)and yes how can i forget it...here also lies one of the well-known international university of the world-WHITE WATERS. And this is what i came to know about TERA from google and from my journey from TERA airport to our hostel.
we reached our hostel at 10 in the morning. Most of the seniors were out for classes and some were hurrying up to go...gulping their breakfasts in the process.only freshers like us were trying to find their appointed rooms which we were given with our acceptance letter. Fortunately me and Pari have to share the same room.although any other girl can also join us because there can be maximum 3 girls in a room. so some rooms had 3...some had 2.but we really don't care about all this,till the time we both are together.
'here it is 407' Pari exclaimed
Me-'are u sure'
Pari-'yes...yes...'
I tried to open the door but it was locked from inside. i gave pari a confused look.
'I think someone has already taken our room'pari said suspiciously.
I knew my best friend and can't trust her memory, so shook my head looking at her and took out my letter, to check the room no...it was 402.i looked at her and she nodded sheepishly and then followed me to room no. 402. We went inside. It was a normal hostel room.i pulled our bags inside and went to the bathroom to freshen up and when i came out Pari started again but this time it was the complaining part.
Pari-'this is what they call a room.i mean look at the walls,they are so dull...my posters will not look bright on them'
Me-'Pari this is not home. It's a hostel'
Pari-'yes it is a hostel of one of the greatest international universities of the world..that's what i am saying'
i shook my head and started unpacking things. Pari helped me in it but her complains never stopped..
Pari-'even the food is not good'
Me-'u have not even tasted it yet'
Pari-'and i don't think i will...not soon enough.u know i can't even identify what seniors were eating in breakfast'
Me-'that's because messes here have different food themes everyday..one day it's the indian food dishes and other days the other country dishes. Since students here are from all over the world'
Pari-'watever...but thank god! Cafe and indian food stalls are nearby...they are very important for our survival here'
after the unpacking Pari freshened up and we both rushed down to the mess for the lunch.classes get over in the evening so the seniors were still not there and freshers were eating in their respective country groups.we found some indian girls sitting at the end of the table.we smiled at them and they smiled back as we sat at the other end of the table. it was some other country food day so food was unknown to us and Pari was already making faces.but i somehow managed to eat and also made Pari to eat some. however she only ate when i promised her that we will get the dinner from outside and will have snacks in the evening.
On the way back to our room i tried to give Pari a lecture on adjusting..
Pari-'ok! Will u stop now it's just one day...no not even one day and u have already started. I will adjust. but it will take time. I am not like u'
i was about to shot again..
Pari-'don't start again. I understood. I will try to adjust ok!! Plz now i am feeling really tired.let's go and have some beauty sleep...i want to check the boys soon'
my best friend can never change and i don't want her to. I love her like this only. so i said nothing and followed her to have some good since me too was tired by the unpacking and the journey. although we didn't walked much but the flight was very long and Pari never stopped talking so i really needed this. and then we spend the whole afternoon sleeping.
after getting up we had no work so we decided to go out to have some snacks and a walk around the campus
the classes will be starting from tmrw itself after the counselling of the colleges and we came a day early to adjust to the surroundings
after some walk we went to a cafe and had some coffee. as we returned back to the hostel we saw some freshers standing on the stairs and discussing something.
so guys i know it was boring since there was no shravan but i promise he will be there in next part..
