Shaurya's biological mother..

Yesterday's episode did throw some light on Shaurya's past ,(most of us had already guessed about his trauma, pain,abusive father & his being adopted by Karuna) what left me wondering was the role of Shaurya's biological mother in development of his present personality & prejudices..I think maybe his mother was frail, weak,subservient woman, who probably took all the abusive behaviour from her husband & could not defend both her son & herself..Shaurya even at the young age of 7-8 years stood up to his father hence bore the consequences of his anger..Trauma that a child was facing at such an early age damaged his thought processes completely..his father 's abuse coloured his psyche against middle class so much that somewhere in the process he forgot that he & his mother too belonged to the same middle class..On the other hand Karuna, belonged to a well off family ,pampered & loved him unconditionally..so the mind of young Shaurya got prejudiced..

todays epi really did highlight alot of things.. Shaurya looked really sad but adorable yaar. I was so sad when the flashbacks was shown.

That aside, I wonder whether she was married to Mr.Khanna legally and he cheated her with Karuna or was she an ambitious middle-class woman who fell into the trap of rich Mr.Khanna?Does he hate that part of his Mom, even as he tried to stop his father from visiting them?

Was it middle-clas Mr.Khanna who was ambitious and married Karuna for her money,ditching young Shaurie & his Mom?

I think, he hates people who sacrifice their values to get ahead, a trait he thinks Mehak and people of her class has.His misogyny directed at middle-class women is still puzzling.

Yes I too wouldn't want his mother to resurface ,because members of his(step) maternal side are already resurfacing everyday 😆.If I remember correctly Karuna is married for about 23years,but Shaurya is around 26..so obviously Shaurya's mother came into the picture much earlier. Who knows maybe his mother was ambitious..there is a possibility because Shaurya is shown to hold prejudice against middle class, so if his mother was a positive influence..at least some part of his mind would have given benefit of doubt to Mehak..yes his prejudices are pretty strong which is a little baffling. There is a question mark.

Mr.Khanna bragged that he was a successful biz man himself, but Mamiji said he was a fraud.
The question for me is, whether he hates both his parents or only his father.
It's clear he hates that helpless part of him,that couldn't stop his Mom from fasting for the man who beat him regularly.

IMO, Shaurya hates only his father..he reminds him of the ambitious middle class people whom he hates very much...not his mother for sure...in one of the early episodes, he was looking at a photograph very lovingly when Mehak mentioned about her mother...and most of us knew it was his mother's photo...
