And i want to say I really like Harman & HaYa scenes and I don't think VD took any wrong decision by doing this show infact its one of his best decisions to choose it

This show is doing great & it is another feather in his already glamorous cap

The problem is Just stop comparing VD's characters with each other they have their own specialties which can't be matched by another

ON THE OTHER HAND RS & Ekta have all their shows in top 5/10 for 3-4 years continuous period and even after that their shows run for another year bcz they show family drama also along with leads . And I believe that family drama is also necessary so that actors don't get burdened all the time and only they don't have to shoot 24*7 and get exhausted and fall ill . And family drama time to time gives much needed fresh air for leads to enjoy their personal time . Yes you said right that when ST or Gul focuses only on leads all the time then we have seen its after effects . While RS or Ekta doesn't show leads all the time . Another thing is that if RS and Ekta's show's are compared then even Ekta's show looses to TRP very soon while RS shows stays for a longer period in TRP charts and for any PH and channel TRP is what matters . They are not here for charity work . And VD has been in this industry for a long time so he must be knowing what to do and what not do . There will be no tag of FLOP on VD and even this character of Harman is winning accolades otherwise why will the show be in top 5 since last 3-4 weeks (when since last 3-4 weeks even Harman is given importance) .

Well my dear friend Ishu has already summed up most of my feelings in her post.I would like to make a few additions.

First of all,I believe that comparison is inevitable.Whether it is between two characters of the same actor or two actors playing the same character or two actors playing different characters.Comparison exists everywhere.

Secondly,I don't believe that Harman's character is weak from any angle.Infact I find him to be realistic.He is caring,sweet and a genuinely good guy.Being a nice guy doesn't make you spineless.Infact it takes guts to stand for your wife knowing her reality.

As Ishu said,it's natural for people to look for traits of Abhay or RK in Harman because the character was so different.It will take time for some to get accustomed to Harman and accept him.

When a sudden transition takes place,it takes time for people to get used to it.

Personally,I love all the characters played by VD.Be it Abhay,RK or Harman.And I believe that these characters were different from each other.This shows VD's versatility as an actor.
