New entry in the show-Ramakant's second wife

Star Plus' Jaana Na Dil Se Door, produced by Beyond Dreams will see a major entry now!! And that will be of Atharv's (Vikram Singh Chauhan) step-mother and Ramakant's (Prashant Bhatt) second wife.

Yes, the lady's entry has been much-awaited, and this will take the story to a totally new phase. It will also lead up to the entry of the other lead on the show, Shashank Vyas. Smita's character will be mother to Shashank.

Now, the actress joining the cast will be the seasoned campaigner, Smita Bansal.

Yes, Smita popularly known for her motherly portrayal of Sumitra in Colors' Balika Vadhu will return to TV with this prime character.

As we know, Nausheen Ali Sardar was slated to essay this character prior to the launch of the show. However, owing to the delay in the character's entry, Nausheen grabbed a meaty role in & TV's Gangaa.

As per sources, "The channel and production house had been on the lookout for an apt face for the role. Now, Smita Bansal has been locked for the same."

Smita was last seen in Life OK's Zindagi Abhi Baaki Hai Mere Dost.

We tried buzzing Smita, but could not get through to her.

Our efforts to reach out to Producer Yash Patnaik for a confirmation on this were in vain.

The channel spokesperson also remained unavailable.
