RK didn't take 38 cr. It was due and never paid.

That will be such a big loss to Bollywood, it will get closed down like it happened in many other countries movie industries.
Rampant corruption, under the table dealings between movie directors and CEOs of these production houses makes movies budget overshoot so much that it can never be recovered.

I think there's a lot of money in films, if there weren't the black money men wouldn't have tried so hard to control it. Cinema tickets, piracy, music, television, legit DVDs/internet. If this news is true - that UTV is going away - it had to have been struggling pre Mohenjo Daro. It wouldn't surprise me at all if whoever (mafia or other producers etc.) saw an opportunity to get rid of a competitor and took it. Mohenjo Daro was not a good film. But it was no where close to as bad a film as the absolute wave of negative publicity it faced said it was - even before ANYONE had even seen the film. BW is a very dirty place.

There are far too many bad films out of Bollywood. Same ole ghista pita stories.

i am in favour of small productions aamir khan productions, clean slate films, AK films... they keep the budget low... aamir should really consider producing more films.. he has a knack for picking good scripts and keeping budget low...
