@blue - if Mangala handed over the girl to Anandi - it would look like injustice towards Mangala. She has outshined Anandi and came out as the better character.
I knew what fate awaits Mangala right from the time Nimboli told her - that mother would be like her. And slowly they unfolded the story how this woman was like an oasis in that desert - doing all the right things, helping all that she could and not letting the atmosphere dampen her spirit. She was weak and yet she did not surrender to the evil. Her conversation with Kamli at various times before her marriage made it clear that it was she who helped Kamli also. Creatives made this character almost outshining the lead and so, it was bound to happen that she will be utterly negative - so that the lead does not have to be obliged to her, and people do not think that Anandi did injustice to Mangala by snatching Nimboli. Mangala is now over - I cannot sympathise with her and I wish her character ends asap or at least she returns to Jhalra.
Somehow creatives end good characters - even before Mangala - I admired Pushkar's mother - that lady had so much scope. I would have loved to see positive characters and their story. Perhaps I am not the usual serial viewer - I do not find joy in victory of lead by any which way, degrading a good character or even ending the role of good characters just to make illogical story of lead and his/her victory. I want to see good story - it does not matter if the story is focused on lead or any side character like Pushkar's mother/Kamli etc.
This serial has given glimses of good story and I liked the way this forum discussed various issues. Now slowly all that is getting over - the serial cannot show good story and even the forum is degraded. A lot of people left perhaps for this reason...
