Himesh gifts his lucky scarf to Aneek
In Friday's semi-classical and classical songs special episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Himesh Reshammiya was so impressed with Aneek Dhar's performance on the song laaga chunari main daag, he presented him his lucky scarf he was wearing on the show that day.
An honoured Aneek says, "After the show got over I thought that he must have given me the scarf just like that so I went to return that as it was his lucky scarf. But he refused to take it back and told me – I gifted it to you because you deserve it."

Deepika Padukone, who visited the sets to promote Om Shanti Om, also could not stop herself from praising Aneek on the show. "I think Aneek is best contestant and my favourite. He sings really well and of course he is from Himesh's gharana. I loved it when he performed on Shah Rukh's song ishq hai ek andhi from Main Hoon Naa."
Aneek too has only good things to say about the debutant actress. "Deepika is a very beautiful girl. I like her since the time I saw her in Himeshji's video Naam Hain Tera," he says.
Adds Aneek, "I performed on the song main agar from OSO which is not out yet and then requested her to join me on the stage. She was gracious enough to accept my invitation."
The classical and semi classical songs special episode will have Pt Jasraj and Jagjit Singh as the guest judges.
