There has been a picture of white horses and a yellow /tawny color horse shown in the house..occupied by Sapjit. A clustering of horses together..has been shown..when Shlok came to kidnap Astha.

Horses in general symbolize FREEDOM...they are normally found in the wild but now are domesticated. A horse is a symbol of freedom and power. An Arabian horse is a prized possession and a mustang is a wild horse..that is hard to tame. They take a lot of courage and determination to be tamed. But once tamed they are trustworthy and will take the rider to places and victory.

In a race the horse runs with all her heart towards victory looking regal and fierce to beat out the competitors. A spirit of endurance, freedom and has the ability to be a true companion taking one through the mountains, valleys and across plains. Shlok is the rider here looking for his beloved companion and fighting for her, to traverse the JOURNEY OF LIFE.

Indru has made it out to be a race between Astha's life and her memories. Shlok has chosen her life and is on a race to save her life. This race is fraught with danger and the picture of a rearing horse or statue that was shown behind Shlok means that Shlok cannot overcome the obstacles by himself. The horse symbolises that he is going to need the help of others to cross over. This is evident as Varad dada n the chawlwaalon are all pitching in and have forced Shlok to accept their help to return Astha to her rightful place.

The grouping of horses also indicate that a storm is approaching and they stay together to protect themselves. Astha is disturbed, the stranger is bothering her, upset her balance and is tossed about by memories and shaken out of her composure. Sill has more to face.

WHITE HORSE

It is symbolic of being a hero, as pure as the driven snow and being vulnerable. A knight who is brave and valiant always rides a white horse. It is also a symbol of death as in Astha is dead and now only Barkha resides in her mind and physically is made to look like her.

It also means beauty and purity and sighting one is a rare event. White symbolizes peace and birth. The storm has gathered with black clouds and Shlok has to weather the storm. Once it passes...all that is left is clear blue skies and happiness. A new dawn for Ashlok. In essence the rebirth of Aastha Shlok Agnihotri.

Here both Astha and Shlok are the white horses whose LOVE IS PURE. Astha's hero is her Shlok who will exhibit bravery and come to rescue her from her..vulnerable state.

YELLOW/TAWNY HORSE

It represents a happy nature, warmth and very affectionate..which Astha is towards the kids. Also her natural exuberance is shown. She was always chirpy and bubbly but for the trauma she underwent.

BLACK HORSE

Indrajeet turned out to be the dark horse who appeared to be a soft spoken gentleman but turned into Raavan later. He abducted Aastha from the accident site and did not let on that she was Astha Shlok Agnihotri. He killed that identity of hers and transformed her into his Barkha. A black horse means death and he did that to Aastha, keeping her in darkness. He also has hades of a red horse which are vengeful and cunning by nature.

RACEHORSE /STALLION

It is symbolic of being the best of the best... Apsara's words that Shlok is a winner..is reflective of this. A thoroughbred is bred from previous champions... NA was an achiever...who won and alway played to win against all odds and also taught his son the same. A race horse has the lust and passion to be the best, the fastest and possesses the strength, the elegance and poise to win.

Shlok is all of the above and now his inner fire has been awakened.

Horse also mean WAR and it's one between IS and Shlok over AStha. The WINNER OF THE WAR ALSO WALKS AWAY WITH THE SPOILS AND RICHES.

In Hindu mythology, white horse is the last avatar taken by Lord Vishnu as Kalki. It is also associated with Varuna the god of Wind. Lord Buddha departed this world on a white horse.

TRUMPETING ELEPHANTS

There were two statues of elephants trumpeting shown behind Shlok when he was n the chawl. Bappa or the elephant headed God is with him, though his faith and trust in Bappa is being severely tested. They are a symbol of power, wisdom, strength and longevity. A symbol of good luck and fortune. The color of the elephants indicate rainfall and water..the color of the rain bearing clouds. Rainfall that brings life and green color to Mother Earth, watering the parched dry earth like Shlok is now..dry, lifeless needing the elixir of AAstha in his life.

There was a painting of a woman dancing with her sari tied very low in the back..(in the epi where Shlok comes to her BR n tries to take her away from IS) bordering on the indecent while a man was playing the dholl..or drums.. Could be that man is Indru whose intent has fallen very low regarding Aastha and is making her dance to his tunes. She is totally unaware that her sari has slipped so low in the back. The awakening of Aastha from her dreamlike trance is imminent as shown by the golden horse or the yellow one.

@ Nimmy
Nice explanation !!!!!

White Horse also symbolizes Responsility/ Loyalty - The PIC of TWO White Horses together and the yellow horse slightly infront of the two white horses!!!! - could be white horses symbolizing the Aastha's two lives real & fake - in both lives she was and is acting as a very respnsible wife/ Bahu and mum -(( because she is always uttering one word in front of SHLOK '' why why are you disturbing me - I am a mother of two kids and someone's wife'' - It is reflecting her dutyful inner nature of Aastha to every one !!!!!

The Yellow horse in the same pic - might be symbilozing - the awakening of FAKE BARKHA to Aastha !!!! - This pic was shown two occassions - one in the BR behind Aastha when Indru was changing his wedding photograph and at that time Indru's answer would FB to awaken fake Barka to Aastha in future when Shloke would try to get back her memory !!!! - Yellow horse signifies enlightment/ awakening also !!!!

In Chawal two elephant on two sides of SHLOK were signifying the stabilty/ protection and blessings from both sides to Fighting HORSE SHLOK AGNIHOTRI !!!!!!! - elephant symbolizes stability and protection - representative of Bappa also !!!
In that Room another Horse's statue was also shown behind SHLOK - that could be our worrior winner flying SHLOK Agnihotri !!!

Swathya,

Thanks to you..I did some research and thought of making this post. Thanks for your input on the elephants. Am still trying to gather my thoughts on Indru and his symbolism with a horse..

As for seeing past episodes...hotstar...app...has them all...keep clarisa's post as a ref guide and see the episode...as she has given the Ashlok scene description in an episode.

Agree that Astha is very dutiful and loyalty towards Shlok, his family and how Indru and his kids.
Yes noted that there was a brown horse behind shook when the elephants were also shown.

Great Post and Observation dear as always

I didn't notice.
I can't see IS and Aastha/Sapna/ Barkha scenes anymore.

Hope that the winner Shlok Agnihotri comes back soon with a bang and showing us a strong, smart Shlok. Who deserved aastha more then anyone else. No matter what happend in his past, a great opportunity for showing us how much shlok loves his aastha.
