Champak ke paas paise kaise nahi hai?

As far as I remember,champak had some land and a house on his name in his village.Hasn't he saved any money in his life?He has not educated his son much.He has no daughter so he didn't spend money in dowry.

He's total dependent on jetha but it's hard to believe that champak has no money.He was literally begging in front of bhide to give him money.

He can't sell his land or house in the village when he needs the money urgently. And anyway then his son will come to know.

Probably he doesn't keep much money on him as he can always ask for it from his son.

But yeah, why would he someone like Bhide.

My father has some land a few houses in his village.But he stays in a city.He has given his houses for rent.He has also given his lands to few farmers to do agriculture on his lands and every year whatever money they get after the agricultural work,they send the money to my dad.

Champak too has some lands and house in his village.If he has not sold them then he too must have given those lands to few farmers to do agriculture and he too would be getting money from the lands .So why didn't he use that money?

I hope I made my point clear.Anyone from agriculture background might understand what I am trying to say.
