Why Arjun was killed. My take

Yes it was a sickening epi and indeed traumatic too to watch it. But I guess I have understood where the CVs are going. Understand that 2 terrorists were staying at RP. Leave Disha. Sandhya had done background check on her. But the question is about Prema. Bhabo had doubts about Prema. She had told that to Sandhya also. But neither Bhabo nor Sandhya wanted Prema to be out of RP at that point. Reason was selfish. They were using Prema to unite Vik and Meena. In other words Bhabo and Sandhya had overlooked Prema's suspicious behavior just so that their family can be happy. After Vik unites with Meena the plan was to throw Prema out. If Prema was a genuine lady neither saas-bahu thought the impact of what they have done to the poor girl. Telling her one day they accept her as Vik's wife and when their plan is successful throw her out telling Vik now wants his first wife only. Now leaving this Prema was their biggest mistake. Here Bhabo failed as a mother as she was using a pregnant woman for furthering her cause and Sandhya failed as an IPS officer. Sandhya knew what all tricks terrorists can deploy to get RK. It is not the first time disguise is used or RP have encountered it. Especially when she has come across RK's pic in her house. But she was so lost as beendini that she forgot her duty and her oath as an IPS officer. This gross negligence on Sandhya's part as far as Prema was concerned has lead to the situation now. We know that Prema was responsible for re-hijack also. In other words in trying to save their family RP especially Bhabo-Sandhya has been indirectly responsible for 3 deaths and ruining of 3 families. Especially that of Arjun. Arjun's face and Shalu's tears are not going to go easily from Bhabo's memory or from Sandhya's conscience. And in one way or other both Bhabo and Sandhya has to pay the price of Shalu's sindoor.

Just like Disha's background was checked by Sandhya ..Prema's background too was checked by Meena when she took her address and informed her husband about her stay in Pushkar ..

@Sonali Sandhya told Bhabo they are playing with Prema's feelings. But when Bhabo said Prema is not what she seems to be Sandhya went along with the plan. She didn't feel the need to check on Bhabo's doubt nor did Bhabo felt what she was doing to Prema may be wrong if her assumption is wrong.

You cant absolve them of negligence as far as Prema is concerned. Because Saas-bahu needed Prema for the unity of the family. And I am damn sure CVs will show saas-bahu paying the price also.

Arjun's death has re-imposed my faith in CVs and what they are trying to show. Yes it was utilizing the memories of the horrendous tragedy but I don't see there could have been a better way to bring Bhabo to her knees and remind Sandhya where her priority should lie.

@Neel who told Bhabo or Sandhya will repent on keeping Prema. Maa business will rule. I only told Bhabo and Sandhya will pay the price of Shalu's sindoor 😉.

@dabhlover regarding Disha atleast Sandhya did something. But with Prema she never even made an attempt also as I said they needed Prema to make Vik accept Meena.

@Shruthi through out the track I have hardly seen Sandhya in the house, she was working hard on either catching or trapping the terrorists ..Arm smuggling and whole lot of things were happening which kept her occupied ,...When she got shot by Maya ,it was only one day which she spent peacfully or discussed things with Bhabo.. Bhabo was doubting Prema thinking she is cunning or how she cud say yes for the marriage so quickly ..Nothing more than that through which Sandhya cud feel something is wrong ...
