No one deserves to have their daughter die on them even if they have done bad things. I only sympathise with urmilla as a mother loosing her daughter, because usually parents go first and her one and only daughter died very young.

I agree, no one deserves to have their children die. I'm only saying that the pain Urmila is feeling is the result of her karma. It's not that she deserved to have her daughter die, but that she had no care for other people's children and was always so selfish about herself and her own daughter (she didn't even care about her husband). That's why she's suffering the pain of losing her daughter. Rashi definitely did not deserve to die, and no parent in the world should lose their children at such a young age, but when they do, the pain they suffer is karma. They must have done something terribly wrong towards others either in current life or previous. Otherwise, God does not punish anyone with such a terrible event as losing a child for no reason. That's why selfishness has a limit. We all are selfish to an extent. No human being is completely selfless, but when our selfishness causes pain to others, we too will feel pain at some point in our life.

sorry but i really don't think she deserves a pain of loosing her daughter
her deeds were wrong and yes she shouldn't have right to be sympathized but she lost her daughter so her reaction isn't over the board ..
even koki was more worse to gopi, with her ladli daughter-in-law in the past..which totally unsuited her character
and about urmi she always against gopi..so what she did that justified her character
