She was miffed (rightly so) that as a wife she wasn't taken into confidence. Her hurt lies there but is it justified for her to bargain a child's life for that? This is what she is doing... Shagun jailed=Adi being put in foster care... That sounds petty and revengeful. An action taken against her sauten...

When Toshi went to Madhu for her to drop the case - Ishita didn't hesitate at all. She came and said to Toshi she understands her pov and pain as a mother, she then went to Raman and told him clearly "let's drop the case, it isn't worth it anymore". Where was param ever shown remorseful then? Nowhere nah, so why does she needs it for Shagun? What would she gain by it anyway apart from personal satisfaction? A child's life is at stake here, that why I can't understand her...the Ishita I knew wasn't one to toy with a child well fare

We agree to disagree, it's ok ...no hard feelings, everyone is entitled to his view 😃

As I said earlier Aeryn, I am only pointing out the reasons for Ishita's outrage here. I am not going into Adi's custody case since am not sure even the CV's will go there. So will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Again it's not ego in Ishita's case, it comes down to justice & remorse. What if Ishita's mother was killed/disabled, was she still supposed to let this just coz of Adi. I do not agree on this point.

And Shagun deserves shit if she is willing to dole it out. Would it kill her to apologize for the sake of her own son? If its really coming down to Adi, then why is his birth mother not considering things when Ishita is giving her a way out? Isn't that ego?

@ red -- Yup ...we agree on this point 😃 . Hard feelings over a fictional show is just not worth it.

I think Adi's had falsely accused his father of abuse before when he was taken away from Raman.

Taking Adi away from Shagun is going to prove to be a good move for him and his future.

A child who is as angry and full of hatred for his father and is easily swayed by his manipulating mother needs to get some therapy to deal with both his parents and the society he will eventually enter.

Showing sympathy to Adi now and not showing him the right from wrong is going to mess him up more and ruin him and his future.

Yes Shagun's upbringing has impacted him adversely. He does things when instigated by her. But Adi is also a bully, mean, manipulative and a liar. He is also self centered and rude. What he did to Shravan was not instigated or planned by Shagun. He saw the wedding video and planned out it all by himself.

He needs guidance but also someone needs to shake him out of his arrogance and materialistic world. Here I feel both Raman and Shagun are not the right influence on him. Raman with his misguided OD love and Shagun with her manipulations.

PS -- am not commenting on his custody here. Just the kind of teen he is shown to be.

No worries paru_rox.

Believe me I understand Ishita's outrage. She deserves to know the truth that is not in question. Raman has hidden it, he was wrong but I understand why he did it but that is another debate to which I don't want to enter...enough said about that. Here I am solely speaking of Ishita's action.

Ishita's outrage is understandable but why messed up a child's life even more than it already is my question? It was an accident. Her mother survived. A child life can be even more destroyed. This is even more puzzling when it has been shown that when everyone thought param did amma's accident, Ishita was ready to take the case back for Toshi and Simmi's sake, again she was ready to not get her amma justice and spare a guy who almost raped her!! So please tell me how that is coherent? The situation is still same only the culprit has changed...

Nowhere have I justified Shagun nor said she doesn't deserve shit. Here though this court will not only impact her but an underaged child too. Nothing can be expected of Shagun, it is naivety to think that such a person would even feel remorseful...but enough said about Shagun, the topic is Ishita and to me it is very callous of her to not give a thought to all the consequences this fight for justice will bring...
Is it worth it at the cost of a child's life is my question?

Now I am really signing off ... So good bye🤗

I agree with you that Adi is a spoilt rotten mean and vindictive child. And he may be like this because of his parents separation or he is just a Bad Seed, I don't know.

He definitely needs structure and guidance and his parents are so immersed in their tug of war between each other that there is no responsible adult to guide him from all the mistakes he makes.

This accident that he is involved in and when it is proven without a doubt that he did it then it is perfect time for his parents to take action to turn Adi around by first letting him be punished for his crime and secondly take responsibility and get some serious help for him.

Custody of him is a decision that needs to be made later after they have seen to it that he has improved in his attitude and has shown that he accepts what he did was wrong and has paid the consequences and will change his behaviour in the future.
