Its been 2 years since that landslide. The whole of deewan family is shattered and is trying to cope up with the incident. Deewans still believe that pankhuri is still alive but their hopes are getting lesser day by day but the two people who have high hopes that pankhuri is still alive are Adi and payal.
Adi has changed a lot - physically weak but mentally strong in the hope of meeting pankhuri someday.
Few months Adi goes trekking in order to search pankhuri some months at home but neither eats nor sleeps well because he remembers pankhuri all the time.
one day on a trekking journey towards manali he met a man who said that he met someone who resembles pankhuri but is later shattered to find out that she is someone else.
Few days later avantika gets a call from kullu that someone had called them saying that pankhuri is alive and is in Shimla right now and her name is pankhuri. Avantika tells this to Adi and he is very happy to hear this and gets ready to go to Shimla. Everyone in deewan mansion is very happy to hear this specially payal.
After almost a day Adi reaches the place where pankhuri is staying.
