Veera Aur Nayi Soch Really???!!!

How much more illogical can things get??? Well I am not talking about Baldev transformation... I am zipped about that!!!

I simply could not digest the drama that Ratan and Veera did infront of Balwant, Bansuri and Baldev!! We already live in a patriarchal society where a girl and her family are considered a bit inferior to the guy!!! Are they reinforcing and endorsing this age old evil in our society through Veera and Ratan!!! The way Ratan had disclosed all her plans to Veera, she could have done the same to Gunjan's family members and they could have executed the plan together. The fact that Balwant was a heart patient was not hidden from them!! Were they blind to the agony on Balwant's face?? Were they so insensitive to the worries of a brother, Baldev??? Was there a real need to stretch this illogical drama and make the girl's side hear the story??

In our society, there is this age old tradition of "Ladki Dekhne Jaana" which I have never understood. Why you really have to objectify women? For heaven's sake women is not a commodity for sale.

So what exactly they achieved through this scene??? The things that follow would be pure torture for me... To top it all they are planning to almost show a same sex marriage onscreen which is illegal in India!!! These things have no fun element attached to it atleast for me!!!
