I am very practical person. I believe in love however I won't donate everything to charity just to be with someone. May be I am selfish. There are better ways to handle stuff like that. What are your thoughts on this subject??

I agree with you. That is completely and utterly impractical.
I guess if it was THAT important to prove a point, she should have at least kept some portion of her property to ensure financial independence. Like, she's bankrupt now lol...what kind of sense is that... Oh wait, she doesn't have any anyways.

Also, wasn't her dadu suppose to be her entire world and all? How can she give away his token of love so easily just because she found a new love interest.

Another thing that's weird is her impulsiveness. What was the extreme hurry? Was the wealth going to devour her?

Well, I know girls who have left their parents home without even a change of cloth in hand, leaving everything and everyone behind, just so they could be with their lover.

I also know girls who have looted their parents blind (stealing gold/money from the locker) n set off with their lovers.

I have heard of ppl killing for love.

Love is strange like that. It makes you do things you'd never have done otherwise. N if you r not impulsive in love, where's the magic...

Now coming to the question, I m not in love with raghu so I can think straight. N being a practical person, I'd say no. I wouldn't leave everything for a guy who said he couldn't love me...

Good post Preetie.
I agree with you . I won't do this donating for love. It is against my way of thinking. I may give a way my job. But donating the whole property is one thing I am sure woldn't do.

Shivani did it coz she was helplessly in love ..nothing is more important in her life as Raghu now. He became her whole world. If she lost him she won't be able to enjoy life. So she acted as a girl which lost her lover then she donates every thing and turns to a sister.

I most certainly would not!! I'm too cynical to do anything of that sort 😆
But I've seen many women do foolish things in the name of love...such foolish things that I feel my cynicism is a blessing :| 😆

And even if I had not seen such women, I can still fully understand why Shivani did it. From the start, we've seen that she trusts, hates and loves blindly. She is extremely emotional and impulsive. She takes decisions based solely on her heart. That is very impractical and dangerous, But she is just that kind of person 😆 If they'd shown her sitting and weighing her options very logically, then I'd have been like 'Omg what's wrong with her??' '😲😲 😆😆😆

i would not and the reason is if i love someone then i also love my family. And those property is not earned by mer.So she should respect raghu as well as her family also...in real world nothing happens like this & if your love need a condition like this then i think you should choose another way to solve this problem. But property transfer is ridiculous...!!

I think it was extremely irresponsible of Shivani. But I blame her immaturity for it as she led a very sheltered life to a gr8 extent due to both Daaju and Raghu.
To gain her love and happiness didnt she fail in her duties for her grandfather who had trusted to carry his legacy forward and take care of his business as his heir ?
Did she think she was playing with the lives of hundreds of employees who worked for her company by putting their future at risk ?
Its gr8 to be in love. But if love makes u selfish and think about ur life and happiness and ignore other people then its not worth it.
