Shakti was so perfect in this scene. Usually it's kunwar who leaves me absolutely speechless when it comes to emotionally intense scenes, shakti owned this one. Having made a comeback to acting after so long, she captured every intricate detail flawlessly. The hurt, the shock, the heartbreak were so vivid, that for a split second I was convinced she was actually feeling it all.
Watching kriya smiling through her tears for rey, while her own heart shattered, had me so engulfed that I didn't even notice that I was crying till the TV screen became blurry. Then ofcourse she had to have her conversation with universe ji, which made me want to hit myself for having wanted this to happen.
But, today I did see the old kriya, the kriya who never backed down in the face of a problem. Her heart was shattered, yet she found within herself the courage to hide her tears, she neither needs nor wants sympathy.
Honestly, I feel a little bad for rey too. In his efforts to save kriya and himself from heart break, he has paved the way for it. Infact when kriya burst out laughing at the prospect of them being more than friends, he did seem to be pretty hurt for a split second, before remembering that that is exactly what he feels, or atleast thinks he feels
