The newest actress to join the elite league of Balaji Telefilms' leading ladies is Aparna Dixit. And the beautiful lady is excited about her first telly outing Kalash- Ek Vishwaas.

Playing the lead role, Devika, Aparna defines her character to be of a true believer of God. "Devika has full faith in her God, Ambe Maa. Having no one close to her in the family, she shares her thoughts and feelings with Devi Maa and is a positive person by nature. And she truly believes that guys create all the problems in a woman's life and hence, she wants to maintain a distance from men."

We quizzed the talented lady about her equation with co-star Krrip Suri and she replied, "Though he looks very serious and calm, he is actually one cool person to hang around with. And I am someone who can easily bond with guys. I have lots of male friends with whom I share a very good rapport!"

Though her previous shows have ended, Aparna still shares a very good relationship with her former co-star, "Ankita Lokhande, who portrayed the role of my elder sister on Pavitra Rishta, is still in touch with me and she is like my sister in real life as well."

Like her on-screen character, Aparna, herself is a positive person in real life, who loves to hold an optimistic outlook in life. Though her previous show got scrapped soon after hitting the airwaves (Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai on Sony PAL), the spirited lady believes the experiences have prepared her well for her next ventures.

Aparna further adds that she considers Ekta Kapoor as her inspiration. "Whenever I feel low or tired, I look up to her. She is someone, who is handling so many things all alone. If she can, then I should not be complaining about anything."
