Both the rich samdhans were invited to the pooja and the 2 samdhans living in the chawls - Savita and Rasika were not invited. However, I thing from the story point of view, having Savita-Madhuri-Dharmu in the same house without the scenarion turning volatile would not have worked. So the CV's must have decided to leave her out which did not show Manav in a good light at all.

(It must be noted that Manav Archana were Dharmesh's BIGGEST HELPERS today .)

Thank you for pointing this out. I have not posted my thoughts before but I firmly believe that Manav-Archana are the biggest and main enablers in helping Dharmu get away with his bigamy. If and when this misfires they will deserve everything that is thrown at them. Now that Sulochana is hail and hearty, there is no reason why Manav-Archu cannot confide in them.

Hi Kool, 100% agree with your commentary today. If Manav wants to go home only with his wife and show his mom that Archu is important and he can't live without her, show it in private. DO NOT let her be insulted or ignored in front of others. Agreed Archu is his wife, love, responsibilty, everything and comes first in his life. So where does Savita come in that list? Seems to me like Archu's family who have insulted him time and again and not even bothered to apologize, neighbours, even enemies (loosely worded for Dharmesh) are more important to him than his parents. His father doesnt care anyways, but his mom is craving for his love. She would probably have accepted Archana by now, albeit grudgingly, if Manav would have insisted and showed to the world that any respect given to him MUST be given to his mom as well. In fact, she seems to have already mellowed down, but Manav keeps ignoring her publicly when he didnt even invite her to the feast he arranged for his neighbours. Is he giving her some sort of punishment, when she was the one who stood by him always. Yes, she doesnt like Archana, but even that Archana didn't believe him at one point of time. But his mother has stood by him and for him, whether or not he was living with her. Is that the gratitude he's showing her? I feel sad for the poor lady, she literally doesnt have any support. He husband is useless and always putting her down, one son is dead, one doesnt care and her daughter settled in marital life unlike Archana. Even Archana had her whole family to support her when she had to go through her self-inflicted "pain". I can never like a person who doesnt defend his/ her family , especially a mother, from outsiders whatever differences of opinion you may have. Just feeling her presence is not enough when you cant show her some respect, not the respect she deserves , but atleast the respect you give to your in-laws family.

That's such a big difference from Archana. She attended all her maayka functions and took on unnecessarily their problems on her head even after she and especially Manav were insulted. She has her priorities set, her family and Manav are important to her; and she will care about people as long as they are important to her family or Manav. Atleast she's been consistent from the beginning. I dont understand Manav's character though. The man has no self-respect whatsoever and I dont understand the basis of his actions. Manav's character needs to be redeemed and soon, the only trait that makes him "extraordinary" is his "goodness", and if he's not good to his mom but everybody else, he's not good PERIOD.
