Very true. Samir not got so powerful role in any movie. Always a side role with less importance. He is best in Parichay. All the shades of performance is perfectly played by samir in this show. I think its a first for samir to show his talent.

Have not seen Barafi, but saw Special 26, it was good and now will watch MM&M. Me too haven't seen China Gate😳😳 But have seen IHLS, Vivah, Fashion and Baagbaan many times. Loved him the most in IHLS and Fashion

he was in Lajja too. my fav is Fashion, I like when actors experiment with their look etc, also have seen lot of actors going OTT with the gayness, you really dont need to do that. MB did good and Samir justified it by his acting. Cant compare movies to a daily show...I mean 10 minutes of screen space to 400 episodes (bout 6000min😆) obviously a show will have more scope to showcase any actors talent. So for me both movies and show have been good. I'd also like to see Samir in a serious movie...eg A Wednesday, Aamir etc and if experiment ki baat hai then would not mind a gangs of wasseypur too😆

I always found this line a cliche but it fits Samir perfectly: He is like wine getting better with age.

I have liked Samir's Soni's performance in movies. But to be honest movies haven't given him his due. His only author backed roles were in Fashion and IHLS in my opinion.

Thats the reason I am so sad about Parichay ending. The story may not have lived up to my expectations. But Samir got to portray such a wide range of emotions and such a complex afraid. I am afraid that Parichay we will never see him in such a great role!

agree that in movies there has not been a very good scope yet for samir though he did a wonderful job of the charecters that he did perform !

I too watched vivah, ihls, fashion , bhagban and loved his performance in all of them . though he was very good in fashion and ihls . but i had liked his simple portrayal nin vivah too . though there was nothing much , i had liked his charecter a lot in that toO!

but then , with parichay , his talent had fully been exposed as he had a variety of shades to exibit .

loved each and evey frame that he had appeared in the serial .

sure will miss his acting a lot when the show ends !

hope the demand for season 2 is granted and all of us get our fresh lease to watch his talent for a longer time !

Yeah Rush, I too liked him in Lajja even though he has a gray sheds in his role. He was paired with my most favorite Madhuri Dixit in that movie

My favorite also was Fashion followed by IHLS. I think he looked and acted best in Fashion👏.

A Wednesday and Special 26 are my my most favorite genera of movies so will be really happy to see him in these kinds of movie😊😊 Haven't seen GOW but looks like a hardcore rustic movie so it will be quite different to see Samir in one of those movies. Should we start tweeting Neeraj Pandy and Anurag KAshyap kya?
