This story has a special place! I can't tell you how much I am loving this alternative from the wedding day. Raavi being in her own two feet, her returning and realizing how Shiva was her true friend (or frenemy), and him being her confidant in this Raavi 2.0. Also like her because she's growing and no more the airhead Raavi. Loved their banter and she already is ordering him around like gf. Hopefully, his insecurities and MU of her rejecting him doesn't act as a wedge between the two. Instead Raavi would learn and help him come out if his insecurities around lack of education. Maybe she can teach him from home and he can sit for the exams and get some kind of certification?

Shiva never ever care for the clothes he wear… He is always comfortable with his skin his looks but today seems something special all his clothes are laying at ground and he is trying best to find one good piece of cloth among them… But sadly there is nothing he got… Every Shirt of his contain smell of oil, masala and he knew she hated it… She sprayed her perfume when she is not able to tolerate the smell… Arghh… For the first time he does not want to look like a joker to her…

Dhara saw her Devar being so confused with his shirts… Today, he by himself asked for a holiday he said that he want to rest… But by his action it seems that he is fully occupied for this day…

“Kya hua hai Shiva… Yeh saare kapde kyun pheke hai… Main inhe phir nahi dhulne waali haan” Dhara asked with concern… She can feel her Devar cum Son is in trouble but for what? Why he is throwing all his shirts here and there? “Kya Bhabhi… Yeh koi kapde thore na hai yeh to pocha hai pocha aur apni sahi jagah pe hai… Shiva main tumse rishte mein badi hun meri baat maano you need a complete makeover yeh kya naukaron jaise” Rishita taunt seems to work today at him… He is really excited to meet Raavi… But his clothes, his way of living… Is he going to be fit there with her so called educated folks… What would he do there he really doesn’t have one proper cloth to wear…

“Rishita kuch bhi mat bol mera Shiva laakhon mein ek hai… Uske kapde usko naukar nahi banaate uski achi soch usse mahaan banaati hai” Dhara replied back to Rishita with furious eyes… Even though Pandya family always adjusted with Rishita tantrums but her words that can hurt her child Dhara is not going to take them in…

“Pan mahaan banne se kapde to sahi nahi ho jaate na Bhabhi… Kya galat keh rahi hai Rishita Bhabhi yeh pehan ke jaaunga to naukar hi lagunga…” He took a shirt better than the rest and goes to change so that he will met her… He said that he will come to her welcome party than he must go… Because Shiva Pandya do what he say… While Dhara was confused to see him like this something surely running in his mind he wasn’t like this… She decided to talk to him when he came back…

The ride to her home seems to be gloomy… What if she too make fun of his clothes with her friends? What if she won’t like him to be there with her friends? There are numerous questions going on his head but still for his words he took step towards her home… The door was closed hence he took a deep breathe and knocked… After two knock the door get opened and he saw a young man standing in front of him.. He is perfectly dressed unlike him the outfit seems to perfectly fit him… He must gelled his hair to meet the beautiful lady there while his perfume seems to astonish even the looser like Shiva Pandya… He feel inferior and really want to run away…

“I guess tera Shiva aaya hai… CR… Are you dressed up now? Please welcome yourself young man” The guy smiled and wave his hand to welcome him… Even though Shiva wanted to run away but this Guy seems to be positive hence he entered there… Raavi too came out of washroom she is perfectly decked up in black dress and pajama upto knee length…

“Kya BJ stop irritating him and just keep your mouth shut for few seconds… Aa Shiva…” Shiva entered he saw one middle aged woman sitting at the side and a young girl beside her… Seems Raavi had only this much of people to attend her party… Shiva folded his hand and took blessing from old woman and passed a smile to young girl… He can feel the young girl gaze at him and he feels uncomfortable once again her face and expression as if expressing he do not belonge to here… She goes and uttered something to Raavi while Raavi feel offended but she royally ignore her comments and come there with food…

“Kaaki aapke liye aapka mann pasand aaloo ka parantha banaya hai khaa ke bataayiye… Aapki beti mein koi gurn bhi hai ya nahi..” Raavi smiled and passed the first plate to the lady… While the other young man what did Raavi called him, yeah BJ he snatched other plate from her hand while Raavi looked at him as if she will eat him alive… The young girl took her plate by herself hence Raavi comes there with her and Shiva’s plate…

”Kya CR tu Shiva ke liye kheer nahi laayi… Ek hi cheez to tune sahi banaayi hai, bechare ko vo to de de…” BJ winked at her and asked smilingly… Even though at first this man seems to be okay to Shiva but now his closeness with Raavi is definitely killing him inside… Date… I thought this was our date but no it is date between CR and BJ and he is here as kabaab mein haddi…

“Shiva ko thandi kheer pasand hai… Issliye main aur vo baad mein khaayenge jab aap yahaan se nikal jaayenge…” Raavi smiled and looked at them while Shiva smirked because she know his choices and that make him feel special… Soon all of them indulge in friendly talk the young girl seems to not be interested but BJ and Raavi are enough to complete anyone’s space they are so much comfortable with each other… While talking Shiva noticed BJ knows almost everything about Raavi her like dislike they seem to be close to each other… Shiva is just answering to them even though his words are limited he loved the environment and now feels it’s a good decision to be here…

“Kaafi pyaara bacha hai tu… Bhagwaan tujhe saari buri nazar se dur rakhe” The old woman put her hand at Shiva’s head as a blessing… Raavi admired him he never fails to disappoint her... He is too grounded and never forget to help others and the respect he had for elders is so hard to find... While she was smiling wide looking at Shiva, BJ hit her at head so that she come out of her dream world "Tu mujhe shart jitaane mein kyun tuli hai... Mujhe to bas shaq tha par ab yakeen ho raha hai iss Shiva ke liye tere dil mein" BJ murmured in low voice to her... While she looked at him furiously "Aisa kuch nahi hai I told you... He is just a friend... Hum to dost bhi nahi hai dushman hai dushman... Aap mere dimaag koi ghatiya khayaal mat bharo pehle ek baar galti kar chuki hu... Dusri baar nahi kar sakti" Raavi uttered in anger... While Shiva looked at them... He was thinking why they are so comfortable with each other... The old lady is the first one to be out from there while bidding bye to all…

“I think now I also leave… It’s good to be here even though I don’t feel like it Raavi” the young girl make her faces and stand to go outside…

“Palak… Mujhe pataa hai tu naraaz hai but still I really doesn’t want to hurt you… I just want everyone to feel like home” Raavi give her side of explanation… Even though Shiva doesn’t understand her behavior but he let it go… While the lady rushed outside Raavi told BJ to go and drop her at home hence he too ran after her…

Raavi’s face shows her disappointment… Shiva could not hold himself anymore “Hua kya hai… Yeh ladki chidi kyun thi…”

“Vo Shiva Kaki humaare yahaan pe sweeper hai… Mujhe sach mein nahi pataa tha ki Palak itna zyada awkward feel karegi unke yahaan hone se… She is young and immature I should have thought about it” Raavi said sadly… So that’s the reason Palak is making face all the time and here Shiva thought it’s because of him… But one thing came across his mind why Raavi called a sweeper to her house… Is she the girl Maami raised? No, never… How can she let her to be at her home and serve her food even in same utensils as them… Maami would never do that she used to give food in broken utensils to Pandya brothers when they lost their father and come to her house to eat for few days… How she is so different then her?

“Kya hua ab tujhe bhi gussa aa raha hai mujh pe? Meri galti nahi hai vo pehli insaan thi jinhone beta kehke bulaaya mujhe aur college mein apnapan sa lagaa issliye maine bulaa diya” Shiva is looking at her with admiration… He kept thinking why he never acknowledged beauty of her heart previously if he does she may have said yes to their marriage… Marriage what is happening to him why he always think about their marriage all the time… That was Raavi and Dev’s day but his mind had accepted that he was about to marry her as if two heart bleeds at that time but none came into consideration of others…

“Tu kyun soch rahi hai… Vo kya sochti hai maayne nahi rakhta tera ghar hai teri marzi jisse bulaana ho… Dusro ki baton pe kyun dhyaan dena” Raavi smiled at Shiva having normal talk with her is a big deal and even his point is correct but is it true…

“Kyun tujhe farq nahi padhta logon ki baton ka kabhi… Log kya sochte hai vo hum jaante hai matter nahi karta par phir bhi we always do things so that no one point it out… Tera pataa nahi par main iss society mein rehti hu aur yahaan ke logon ki baton se mujhe farq padhta hai and I have no doubt to accept it shamelessly” Raavi said in straight tone… She knows her thinking is not right but that’s how she is? She knows she is not perfect and never will be… She is strong that’s why she came out of the emotional turmoil but facing those people is still a big deal for her and that’s why she is settled here closed yet distanced to her loved ones… Her heart cries for her maasima she wants to hug her and tell her she missed her but still she is not ready for it…And why? Because she cares for everyone view point… Why would she do suicide? Because she do care what other thinks for her? Their words effect her too badly some times that she can’t think straight…

“Mujhe nahi farq padhta… Main jaisa hu sahi hu log kya socchte hai yeh soch ke main mera waqt kyun kharaab karun” Raavi smiled and checked him once again… Today he seems to be different even though his clothes are same but she can feel he worked on them to look fine in front of her friends… This is not Shiva he never remains shy and composed even if he met people for the very first time… His words and actions today are noticed by her… He was trying to act as a gentleman, act as someone he is not…

“Acha dekhenge… Kal ko kabhi mujhe aisa lagaa ki tu logon ki baton mein aa rahaa… Ya log kya kehte hai isse tujh pe bahut fark padh rahaa hai tab tere gyaan ke amrit ko main bhi apnaaungi” Raavi said in challenged manner… This girl she really trying to challenge him Shiva Pandya say what he meant he will never change for these good for nothing people and never do anything for them he is never going to influenced with their talks…

“Acha agar kal ko tu yeh saare log kya kehte hai… Kya sochte hai vo chod ke sirf vo kare jo tujhe sahi lage uss insaan ke saath proudly khadi rahe poori society ke khilaaf to main bhi tere ko maan jaaunga” Shiva heard Raavi uterring impossible in her breathe… She thinks she won’t change but also think he would change with time… This woman is really a gone case for him… Why did he came here for her?

“Chal kheer khaa le apni” Raavi said while making faces…

“Itna ehsaan karne ki zaroorat nahi hai koi amrit nahi milaaya hoga tune maraa nahi ja rahaa main tere haath ka khaane ko” Shiva retorted back while Raavi looked at him aggressively… She goes and start packing his kheer in tiffin while she came back and put the box at his hand… “Ja aur thoos liyo jab pet mein jagah bache 4 parathe bhar chuka hai aur keh rahaa mere haath ke khaane ke liye maraa nahi jaa rahaa… Chal nikal yahaan se” Raavi replied him aggressively… That’s it they can act as human being for such a small amount of time… Whenever she thought something better can happen in their relationship they ruin it and went back to square… Raavi thanks her star that she said no to their marriage otherwise they must have murdered each other or applied for divorce…

“Bhalaai ka to zamaana hi nahi raha kal bada ro ro ke Shiva Shiva kar rahi thi aur aaj taandav macha rahi hai… Ab bulaayegi bhi na to bhi nahi aaunga…” Shiva warned agitated by her behaviour how can she just throw him outside… It’s his mistake why he came to the girl who left him at wedding alter after he said yes to marry her… This is his fault after getting to see her back he felt she needed his support so without much thought he helped her, but this woman and her attitude is not easy to handle… Thank God she is not his wife otherwise he must have divorced her long ago or manhandled her because his anger rose as soon as he saw her face… Its better that they never got married…

Shiva entered to Pandya Niwas in anger... Dhara runs to him while he is really loosing his control...

"Kya hua hai Shiva... Tu itne gusse mein kyun hai" Dhara asked concernly... "Bhabhi aapke saare faisle mere liye humesha se sahi the pan jo yeh shaadi ka plan banaya tha na aapne it was flop... Bekaar aur ghatiya idea tha yeh" Shiva said furiously... He was too much in anger that he forgot he wasn't supposed to talk about Raavi to his family...

"Kisi ne phir se tujhse kuch kahaa... Yeh log kuch samajhte kyun nahi baatein kyun banaate hai... Vahaan Raavi ko kya kya bolte hai... Aur idhar tujhe bhi... Meri hi galti hai mujhe sochna chahiye tha... Raavi dulhan ke jode mein khadi thi aur uske dulhe ne kissi aur ka haath thaam liya... Aur tu jab uske liye Dulha banaa to usse bhi vahi galti hui" Dhara said while crying... She felt bad when anyone talk ill about Shiva... He was always point out because of his educational qualifications but he never bothered but now people make fun of him saying that Raavi left him because she can't spend her life with a 10th passed... Shiva never shared his inner turmoil but it hurts him while Raavi goes from there he had to face the wrath that wasn't supposed to be his... He knows Raavi was not at fault but even his mind start accepting the fact that she left him prior to this reason... Shiva made a face and then saw a message popped up...

"Sorry SHIVA"

Shiva smiled and sacrificed once again his self respect for her... Unbeknownst to his trouble she still cares for him... He matters to her and that's all is Okay for him... But for how long he will be able to adjust and resist the taunts?

"CHIPKALI"

Raavi smiled looking at his message... He is indeed a good person by heart who have to face all the wrath of hers...

"BJ main kya karun... Yeh Shiva ke aate hi... I lose my control... I don't know aisa rahaa to hum kaise saath rahenge" Raavi said dejectedly...

"Par tujhe uske saath rehna kyun hai... Shaadi ke liye to manna kar diya tune ab kaun se emotions hai jo tujhe usse dur nahi hone de rahe" BJ questioned back... While Raavi too think why she always think him as a part of her life for future... Why she wants him to be there? Why actually she can't let him go if she had no relationship with Pandya's... She kept running from these questions but how long she will resist her feelings for him?

When you were thinking to close the book... I was about to start it...

When you were thinking to run away... I was about to follow you...

We are always the end result but the speed of yours left me back... While you reach the shore...

And that's how we both end up being all alone...

Loved it. So this was a little step back, but I think it will as one so they spring forward. Or so I hope. Shiva is being conscious of his look and seems like really wanted them to be married. Love how both of them "convince" themselves that not marrying each other was the best as they would have been living in hell.

But BJ can hopefully bring the needed change where he can make both realize what they feel for each other. And I have a feeling the first step will need to be taken from Raavi as the rejection has effected him more than Shiva likes to let on. Continue soon!❤️
