Mhh, I can see where you are going with each of your points, I'm more inclined to the first reason because if the second one was the reason, then she wouldn't have been rude to Dhara also. and the 3rd reason is more of an "I hope not" situation. so for me, the 1st reason is very plausible.

Thanks for taking your time to give such a long answer

Raavi is certainly an interesting character indeed!

Personally speaking, I think the reasons she hasn't shown any resentment to Dev can be three-fold (with the third reason being the least likely in my opinion):

1. She considered Dev to essentially be dead when he left her at the mandap for Rishita. Dev is her childhood crush for 10 years. She's always thought of him to be some sort of perfect soul because he was there to "pick up the pieces" that Shiva dropped. She was so used to Shiva hurting her and Dev protecting her, that when Dev hurt her for the first time, she considered him and her childhood crush to essentially be dead. In psychology, you could consider that she has "dissociated (i.e., completely removed)" her memories of Dev with actual Dev. As such, it probably is difficult to be mad at a person who is quite honestly dead in your mind.

2. Dev is now "older" in terms of relations to her. As the elder, she cannot truly "hate" him or insult him. Therefore, she is showing both hatred and her blow-outs to Shiva who is an "equal" to her. It is a little sickening to see Shiva get the brunt of her anger, especially since he does not deserve all of it. Some it maybe. But not all. But, I think part of the reason may be this. Or maybe the makers want to explore this concept further in the show. So far, Dev and Raavi have not had a scene where they are alone, so this might be the barrier, but even so, she hasn't even shown a cold shoulder to Dev...

3. This is my least probably (but still wanted to include it nonetheless) thoughts, but maybe Raavi doesn't want to put any sort of hatred towards Dev because in her mind Dev is "perfect" and she wants to preserve that perfect image of him. As such, she hurls all her hatred and insults to Shiva while sparing Dev everything.

Hatred is truly something that is heavily explored in history. You can never explain hatred, that's for sure, and if left unchecked, it can explode to something as dangerous as a war. In Raavi's case, it's interesting, because misunderstanding after misunderstanding, nothing seems to be getting resolved. It's all the same. It's her criticizing Shiva and Shiva running from there without answering her. I think the running away is what is causing her hatred to build up...

I mean, I think I would feel some type of resentment over a person who drove me to almost suicide even if I dont care about them anymore.. you get me?

This is exactly my issue. I get it, I mean I understand all the reasons but it’s still difficult to watch because she’s known him since they were kids.

How could she think that Shiva would leave anyone behind. That’s what boggling about this.

Raavi can’t even look at Dev. Have you all noticed it.

She was about to kill her self. My goodness talk about misplaced anger. Shiva is not her punching bag. He too got the short end of the stick. He stepped up where he’s older brother fell short.

In fact, even on the wedding night she was busy making accusations. Like, WTF was that all about!!

She's angry and the only way she can release it is through lashing out at the person who would accept it and she thinks "Shiva is not saying anything, so he's at fault" therefore she's channeling all her resentments towards him alone and not towards the person who deserves it.

wahi to problem hai. It’s not okay!! He’s not the one responsible for Dev being in love with someone else.

He’s always told her to stay away from Dev. Raavi didn’t listen and like the airhead she is, assumed Dev loved her back.

How can Dev not loving her be Shiva’s fault?

She may be childish but my goodness her tunnel vision is making her a rather selfish character. It’s like I’m miserable so I’m going to make everyone’s lives miserable as well.

very well said! she's coming across as mean, selfish and self-centered.. somebody needs to sit her down and talk to her about this because it doesn't look like she will understand on her own

Yes!! She’s made up her mind about Shiva. She refused to listen to his family’s reasons. She’s not going to believe him.

I’m not sure how this is going to be resolved. Raavi doesn’t even want to try.

She’s miserable and she’s going to make the whole family miserable if she keeps up this hatred. Hate festers and left unchecked will ruin lives.

Raavi isn’t like that and that’s why I have this problem with her misplaced hatred and anger.

Shiva is not a punching bag.

@bold: so true. I can see two ways of this getting resolved: either shiva has a break down and reveals everything, where he is totally unguarded and vulnerable so she will be forced to believe what he says. Coz clearly she won't believe anything if he says it normally. She doesn't even ask him once.

Or, she needs to actually see him in action, one of the many times he saves her, and hopefully she figures it out then.

Btw he was trying to save her yesterday from falling over into the water right? i guess she didn't register that either

That's why I said she's childish, she's like a kid throwing tantrum when it doesn't go her way while disregarding everyone else's feelings, if no one points this out to her then she's going to do real damage with her relationships 😳

Yes, you can see it happening. I hate to say it but at this rate, Raavi is going to be worse than Rishita.

There, I said it 🤣
