If geo had sense they would have burned off mehshar through ramadan after den and smd finished. They should have launched grand promotions to promote a fresh new slate for after eid: humraaz, mmm and dayan. This would have been a rebranding strategy and they could have really gone all out for a month to promote a fresh new geo prime time and a bigger better 8 pm slate.

Also shair will replace aiej. You can't have dt vs dt on geo and ary on same days and same slot.

From the looks of it, Geo's already losing a lot of money.

To do what you're saying, they should've had minimum one show in Top 10 TRP wise and getting views on an average above 15 million to generate enough revenue (I'm not even a fan of the TRP metric and calculation but in this case it would be important.)

I think their last show which did well despite the competition was Jaan Nisar. The rest they've invested loads like they always do but haven't gotten the kind of returns they were expecting.

Meanwhile ARY's "bad" shows are also doing well either online or via TRPs. Hence Geo has to just buck up and do whatever they can do to remain in competition.
