Wahaj is apparently very popular in Bangladesh. Someone had posted a bangladeshi newspaper clipping about him. It was a half page article on him and not a small entertainment snippet. So it makes sense to dub one of his shows to get more views.

umm i feel the fans love to exeggerate a lot,i can remember at the time of jo bichar gye,one of the Bangladeshi newspaper mocked his acting as Rumi and also mocked the way he was pronouncing bengali words.I just think Wahaj has a highly overactive PR.

Detractors love to downplay

The reality is somewhere in the middle.

He is no oscar worthy global superstar but he is now popular/well known in the south asian tv watching community. Which i think is an achievement given that he was pretty much unnoticed before TB.

i am no detractor,i have been a fan of him for a long time when he was not even pooular and he is a talented actor but tbh i dont really find it that appreciative to be recognised for a show like TB.About him being hugely noticed due to TB,its due to the toxic character he is playing which is liked by masses more often than not,if i am not wrong many acrors from itv got hugely recognised for playing such character who werent even known before doing such character,the prime example being Barun Sobti.Even kushal of itv will be getting famous due to his upcoming show barsaat,where he is playing a character liked by masses but that isnt going to change the fact that he is a bogus actor!

Nonetheless Wahaj is a good actor who deserves recognition and i am glad that he is finally getting it but i am no blind fan who isnt going to call a spade a spade.I do find his PR and fans getting way over the top and trying to make it look like none of the other actors of Pak got this kind of stardom before, which is just a blatant lie.

Nah... I wasn't speaking about you but making a general observation how the reality is neither here nor there.

And i don't think being recognized for any drama is a bad thing when you have slogged for over a decade and are a solid actor. If anything it lets people go back and discover your old works and gets you more opportunities to choose the kind of work you want to do in the future...

As long as the actor is good though.. . Kushal is so horrid that i don't want to see a kushal craze on my timeline. He was beyond terrible in bebakee. Or feroze khan who also got fame playing toxic characters. That annoys me 😆

Social media fans ke exaggeration ko main seriously nahin leti... They think whoever they stan is the next srk/Aishwarya..... Bestum best..... Ek baar biggboss follow karke I've seen absolutely ridiculous posts praising their favs for literally breathing.. After that i don't find any trend or tall claims on social media worth taking seriously
