I believe non should leave their country and go to live and work in another country, but many ppl go there because they don't get a good living and freedom of speach in their own countries. 😒 It becomes tough to adjust there for muslims because they follow their religion and aren't allowed to compromise. There are many families who live there and do it successfully. It's tough for anyone to live in a place that's entirely different from their's. Even foreigners who come to Asian countries find it hard to adjust to the culture and language of that country. Living ones comfort zone is hard for everyone. Most Asian countries have a similar pov regarding marriage and family but still an Indian regardless of his/her religion will find it hard to adjust in Japan or Korea which are also famous for their culture. There are a lot of things that's culturally unacceptable for Indians in Japan/korea and viseversa. It's the duty of the person that enters another country to respect and adjust to the culture and religion of that country and not the other way around. Jaisa desh waisa besh.
The problem with yunhi is that the father himself wasn't a very conservative person. He brought up kim in a very liberal manner and treated her as an equal. Now he automatically expecting her to abide by his religion and culture which is almost alien to kim is hypocrisy at its finest. He is even ready to marry iqbal just so that kim will live the life he wants her to live without being a bad guy in front of her. He is ready to ruin Iqbal's life after her sister's again for selfish reasons.Thats manipulation.
There are a lot of families that brought up their kids by teaching them their culture and religion in the west. It's obvious kim is not among them. One can expect their kids to marry from their own religion if they were brought up being taught the importance the religion and culture hold in their family but Kim's father clearly didn't do that. So he cannot simple expect kim to only date guys from his religion.
