Wish this show started a year later, I would have been ready for all of its OTT glory!! I think I am going to watch their scenes after the show is over. Tots ITV Gul Khan madness which makes you eye roll while watching when it’s running but total guilty pleasure to watch later… uff the leads are just way too yum…like chocolate sauce over walnut chocolate cake layered with chocolate mousse over a sea of fudge!! You know it’s bad for you but you cannot resist! Smacking my lips!

Epi#3 and 4 were good . One thing is for sure ..murtasim cares for meerab deep down ...but due to her attitude he brushes off his feelings .

In between all this , the slap is not ok ..na hi Gul type scenes ..bec that kind of chemistry is totally based on physical proximity which paki shows can't show ..don't show , don't want to show , whatever...also it takes a lot of time to build a love story from it ..

Coming to t the story , therez nothing to talk about . I liked ma begum and haya scene in t the end. Loved how she shut her up . Baaki, I dunno why it matters to anyone who is the real father of meerab . If murtasim marries meerab for property it's crap. BTW why does meerab Hate murtasim so much ?

@Bold: I kinda agree with this. Showing intense hate to love needs a lot of time or that kind of scenes which are not going to happen here.

I don't think any girl with progressive pov and self respect will like Murtasim. He is the kind that won't mind a woman as long as she stays in the limit set by society. He has been forcing his khaandaani pov on her from the first episode itself. On one hand he says he don't care what she does and on the other makes a big deal out of what she does. Why should he care if she was fighting on the streets if he thinks she is Wakas Ahmed's beti and not related to his family? Then the way he forced her out of her own bday party with her friends. He could have simply said he is waiting and she should finish it up and come with him in 15-20mins. There was no reason to create a scene at the party and forcefully take her. Also he didn't mind her doing LLB simply because he don't consider her to be from his family and not because he don't mind her study at all. If he knew she is from his family it would have been a different story. He isn't much different from his mother and uncle. Since they knew each other from childhood he might have been bulldozing his ideas and his pov on her and might have been acting like an entitled egoistic brat from the start since he is the only heir to such a big family.

Wednesdays are my new favourite day of the week now! Can't wait to see the next epi 😍😍

@pink: this is a nice point you have raised. To show extreme hate turn into passionate love...you do need some landmark scenes with physical chemistry. And you're right that it seems not possible in a pak drama.

Like if we take IPK, the scene where arnav detangles khushi from the fairy lights or the infamous Diwali scene.. I don't see that happening here. What a missed opportunity for Murtasim I say 😂😂

It feels very clear that he feels something for Meerab. It is buried deep within his prejudice and ego...but there is some connection there. Gul khan show hota toh kaafi push and pull would be expected. As a pak drama, it will be interesting to see how they show the change in the feelings for both the characters.
