CHAPTER 11

deepa was almost clutching kailash's arm off his socket as she spotted ajay walking towards her. kailash was surprisingly stiff though, but deepa had more important things to worry about than kailash then. she smiled widely as ajay stared at her for a moment then broke into a smile as he recognised her. "he recognised me!!" she whispered excitedly to kailash. kailash didn't even bat an eyelid but stared right at ajay stonily.

he couldn't believe that deepa was crazy for ajay. he couldn't believe that deepa would change herself for ajay. and kailash really couldn't believe that that he cared about all these things. the past few days that he had gotten to know deepa, he found that she was a simple girl. ajay's high society life would never make happy. kailash was unable to take all these thoughts off his mind. these thoughts disturbed him so much that he couldn't concentrate on his job. his employer scoled him in front of everyone. kailash didn't mind the humiliation but what hurt him was that deepa didn't even notice him. "how can she when she is too busy with ajay??" he thought bitterly.

"hi kailash! what are you doing out here?" deepa chirped cheerfully as she found kailash sulking in the foyer. "I may have just got fired. but you didn't notice. how could you? you were busy with ajay." he sarcastically snapped. to his surprise, deepa burst out laughing. "you fool! I was discussing with ajay about you. he has urged to make you the chief photographer for all his functions. that is why I wasn't with you. but you took it the wrong way!" she continued still laughing. kailash just stared at deepa for a second then started laughing too.😆😆

CHAPTER 12

kailash felt silly that he ever did suspect deepa was ignoring him. she was really so sweet & nice. "I am really sorry deepa." he apologised sheepishly. "it's okay kailash.. I was just…" deepa stopped short as ajay interrupted their conversation. "sorry for interrupting, but can I steal this beautiful girl away for a dance?" he asked kailash. without waiting for a reply, ajay whisked deepa away. kailash turned sad once again. "did I make a mistake by bringing her for a makeover?" he wondered dejectedly.

deepa was having the time of her life that night. she was dancing with the most handsome man in Chennai. the most perfect & the most nicest. no, scrap that. kailash was the nicest guy she had ever met. he even made her into what she was today. "why am I thinking about kailash now?" deepa scolded herself silently. she looked up to ajay who was holding her close to him, mesmerised in his deep eyes.

he stood silently in the dark corner. he waited for the dance to end. he wanted to talk to deepa. kailash just couldn't believe that deepa could change him so much. he felt so happy with her, he could just look at her all day long. he didn't know what feeling that was. it was tough to figure it out, but he knew one thing for sure. seeing deepa with ajay hurt him, hurt him more than anything. "do I love her? or is it just an attraction?" kailash wondered his heart turning terribly confused.

this chapter was a little slow. pls dun mind pple. i wrote in in a sort of a hurry. the next chapter would be better, i promise.😳😳 anyways, pls comment or suggest. thankoo!
