I know... I saw some comments and some posts in that forum when I was bhatkofying there... I'm just stating that two love stories can go in parallel but if there is a show which revolves around a particular character, you can't just deviate from that...

I would say, IB's case is really complicated. Because it was never about one particular actor/character. Rather it was about the bond between three brothers.

I get it, we have different aspects in our lives and I don't have anything against Anika as a neutral audience as Shivaay and her story began. But then again there was his other two brothers and obviously they'll find love too. So RiKara or RuVya should have gotten equal space.

Now the problem was again with execution. As far as I know, they went too deep into ShivIka and neglected the bromance; made it look like ShivIka's story. You and I both know to which extent Gul's obsession for one character can go.

Again, they did a spin-off with RiKara and when it didn't work, they were shoved back in IB.

Now ShivIka fans are not wrong in despising RiKara because it's a fact - their favorites' SS got less. Same goes for RiKara fans. They were not wrong in demanding more SS for their favorites.

So all it became was a hot mess which led to serious fan war.

They should have shown the transition in parallel and slowly so that all three couples were given proper and equal space. It was their jumping from one plot to another that ruined it.

So I wouldn't compare it with Nazar or any other show where from the beginning there was two central characters who were supposed to end up together.

I am referring to Chillar Auntie...

Like they said, Nazar was not a love story... Okay I agree. But then, the basic plot of Nazar was revolving around Mohona.

So, if we go according to them, then Mohona was the central character. So, how can they shift the focus from Mohona to Panna ki Tamanna?? How can they shift focus from the three central characters to some cheap copies??

Because it's not love story. 😎 You are not dying to watch a villain. So replacing her with another villain shouldn't matter.

I agree completely with whatever you said...

Basically, what I was saying was that tow love stories can exist in parallel but in a show like Nazar or for that matter even Bh2 where the basic plot is Maya's revenge against MJ, you just can't add a third element out of the blue...

Obviously! In fact, in some of the American shows after appearing as a recurring star for at least 1-2 years if a character gets popularity or become more relevant, then they are promoted to series regular.

In ITV, they just shove the new character on audiences' face and the actor gets all the bashing unfortunately. Another classic case is they never even give a different characterization. Mostly it's the copy pasting of the protagonists which is even more infuriating. 😡 😡 😡

And logic is what mostly matters for me... I'm kinda ajeeb, you know!! 😆
