I am glad you enjoyed Dilli6......like Nums and i had discussed, the movie has it soul in the right place......and for sure is a hatke movie and YET stays strongly mainstream. As for Jai Ho.....the sudden dancing in the end was actually a a big drawing for the goras who though did not understand the significance of it, until someone decided to press "ON" to their respective tubelights. The reasoning was that it was the celebration of life.......that even after having gone through all this, people in India celebrate their lives!Atleast that is what NY times hailed.......phrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!The choreography, well maybe it was deliberatley shoddy, not to make it look too rehearsed to bring the spontaneity factor.....just a thought, I could be wrong......though that would kill me....😉😆😉ahh just kidding girl! Cheers!
Dilli 6 was amazing....other than the story and everything..the way it has been shot is just incredible....that song Dl gira Dafatan...it was wow.....
And Meryl Streep...............loved to hate her in Devil .... the attitude and everything...how could she not win an oscar😡
Jai Ho...celebration of life...and NY times said it??? how can they get meaning out of the most meaningless of things??? it was a really good song...but...i suppose the dude who rote that piece had never seen a bollywood song and dance sequence...or a bollywood song generally....maybe we should make him watch dilli 6....masakali...dafatan ....genda phool.....
and btw what is this american fascination with frieda pinto? she didnt have had much of a presence in the film and her acting was mediocre at best......is it because she is form the east and that exotic element is making her so popular or what? 😕
