There has been a LOT of mixed reviews for the scene I'm going to be babbling on and on about today, and although I'm very open when it comes to opinions, please keep in mind that this isn't a hate post. I don't intend on hurting anybody, and having that said, if you disagree with my POV, please feel free to share your own opinion. If you don't agree with me, please don't quote me on it and judge my personal opinion 😛 I wouldn't do that to you, so I'd appreciate that you don't do it to me.
Okay, enough of the serious business, let's get started 😎 [btw, this is an emotional scene... one of the very few emotional scenes MN have been given, so it's really, really, REALLY close to my heart.]
The scene starts off with this strange music that I have never, ever heard before. (this is when you say "Oh Mimi, you are so behind on the latest Hindi songs!" and I reply with a "put a sock in it😡.. thanks! 😃") and out of nowhere, the camera zooooooooooooooooms out on Nupur on the terrace and then zooms in on Mayank's beautiful Greek-God-ish face 😍
As if sensing her presence, Mayank turns around and looks up to see Nupur who'se pretty much bawling (okay, not really).. that poor, poor thing Puting aside all the 🤣 emoticons I might have used if I didn't know MN when watching this scene, I have got to say... it totally touched my heart. I remember posting a take on MN's confession a while back 🤔 and I mentioned that for the first time in Mayank Sharma's life, someone had the capability to make him cry. When I watched this scene, I got that same gut-wrenching feeling. Mayank Sharma had tears in his eyes. The vulnerability in his every expression broke my heart over and over and over again. When he looks up at Nupur, and the camera focuses on her (the camera angles were really good for this scene! BRAVO CAMERA PEOPLE!👏) I was just like AWEEHHHHHH!!!
Don't even get me started on Rati Pandey. That woman is
p h e n o m e n a l ! She excels in every single scene. I don't think that Rati's ever brought me down... instead, she keeps raising my expectations for her and every time, she leaves me looking like this: 😳
Her every expression during this sequence tugged at every single corner of my heart.

Mayank reaches out to her and places his hand on his heart. He makes sure that his eyes don't leave hers as he nods and lets her know that he's there. He loves her, and he will love her unconditionally regardless of the barriers that stand in their way. [I feel so Philosophical..and I probably didn't spell that right 🤔]
She nods back, and even though she can't convince herself that she'll be with him, she wants him to know that she believes in him and his love.
OKAY OHMYGOD MY FAVOURITE-EST PART :
Through gestures, he tells her not to cry. She'll be strong because she's the strongest person he knows. (this is when everybody's heart breaks and we all go fangirly)
At that, she wipes away her tears *gets emotional* and he places both his hands just above his heart. He remembers her and the way she always told him to say 'I Love You.' (remember that scene?😲 Maybe I'll post a take on that! It was the first time he said 'I love you Nupur' 😳) Just the way he does it makes my heart swooon. Amidst the tears, the pain, and the HUGE obstacle (literally and metaphorically) he shows her that he loves her.
I know it looks funny (my sister had a laugh when she watched this scene) but I find it so so adorably sweet that a guy would stand outside in the middle of the night- even though he's been kicked out of your house and has been TOLD to go away from your life- would wait for you to come because he knows that you will. When he sees you, all he wants to you know is that he's there for you. All he wants you to know is that he loves you, regardless. He wants you to be strong even though it's killing him inside.
She blows him a kiss because that's all that she has to offer. He catches that kiss in mid-air and places it beside his heart. 🥺
Maybe I'm looking WAAAAAAAY more into this, but when I watch this scene, all I see is purity... purity betweeen the two characters who I had initially fallen in love with. This scene brought out the strength of MN's love in my eyes. In a single gesture, they portrayed unconditional love for each other.
