Hey guys, well you seen in todays epi, that Dia didnt want to come out of the washroom coz she was to scared to face anyone, even though she didnt do anything.
Yesterday you saw that the college was laughing at Dia for having a "one-night stand" with Rv.
But the point is, how come everyone blamed Dia only? And not Rv?
Coz Rv was equally responsible for this even though it didnt happen, but people think it did, so how come nobody questioned him and instead taunted Dia?
Is is coz of the way society is, its always the girls fault, no matter what the guy does he cant be held responsible, or is it the way our minds think?
Even though in todays society, girls and guys have same rights and positions, the girl is always degraded for things she does, but the guy is let off, why?
Isnt that sexist?
No matter how much the society chenges, will a girls reputation remain like this, one mistake, and she will be degraded and taunted for the rest of her life, and the guy will be free to do anything and nobody will say anything to him?!
No Matter whether its a rape case, a one-night stand or pregnant before marriage, the girl is always blamed, why does the girl have to tolerate these taunts and accusions? Why do people never let girls get over and forget about these incidents in the past?
Television serials always show a girl being taunted, but the guys gets away with it, why?
Has our Society really changed?! Or have they just decided that "girls should be let out of the house and allowed to make their life decisions themselves", IS change?
I would love to hear you views on this, please do share.

Heyy Naima!

I don't think it has to do with who's fault it is - you're right, it's more on how society views situations like that. In movies, it's always the guy who comes out victorious after alleged one-night stands, as if he's gained or won something - and the girl is thrown away as if she was just something to be used...it's always been like that - the guy succeeds in trapping the girl and using her, while the girl is blind in love and is left to feel ashamed for it all afterwards...

It's sad but things don't seem to have changed all that much, i don't know why, but it happens in real life all the time too - guys boasting with their guy friends about "getting girls" - and girls end up being reduced to tears after they find out they've been used.....BUT there are role reversals all the time, i mean there have been many instances when a girl is the one who uses guys...

OK, random rant right there hahah but to get back to the topic - i don't know what the girl is always taunted...but it's not right!

Nice post yaar..

I know , it sucks But its true about our society. its the girl who is always blamed.. any kind of mishap happen with a girl weather eve-teasing or rape wet, we see ppl commenting on odd things like her dressing stlye, she was out at odd time

Last year a university vice-chancllor said girls beloing to a particular region of India experience crimes like eve-teasing, stalking because of the way they dress up..

It was so shocking that even someone at such high position thinks if a girl wears short dress, she is inviting trouble.

Ditto, Thats what iratates me the most, why the girl always, its ridiculous, Some times i feel has the society really changes apart form letting girls out more and letting tem make their own life decisions.

True but then again, i dont think anyone taunts the guy as much as they would have taunted the girl. But yes there have been instances like that.

Thanks for commenting. 😊

Exactly, so it doesnt matter how much the girl does wrong or right, she will always end up being held wrong and will be degraded and taunted for the rest of her life. Just like in rape cases, is it the girls fault, she was sexually assaulted? the guy does the wrong, but then why does the girl suffer the consequences and punishments.

Its ridiculous Yarr, i dont think it has anything to do with how someone dresses, i mean you may find this socking, but people who wear Hijabs end up getting raped, why? they were fully covered wernt they? so this short clothing inviting trouble is proved wrong totally.
I know its disgusts me when a high position person says all this BS, not everyone uses their position for good cause.
Thanks for commenting 😊

I know, the guy is beleived while the girl is looked down on, and put to shame, its quite stupid tbh. I thought girls and guys were equal then why this treatment towards girls only and not guys?

Im really hoping girls who have been through all this take it up with consideration, and fight for their dignity and rights after watching Mjht, when Dia does it, coz why waste your life crying and hiding for somthing you havent done?
and i agree with shazz its just societies ways! i agree too, it is a society thing.
sorry i'd prob write more but i have a huge headache! awww dont worry you commented its enough, and do take medication for your headache.. 😊

Well obviously its the guys fault too but any girl that gets into a situation where she had a one night stand and then got dumped or got pregnant before marriage, in my opinion, should have known better.

There is something called izzat and honour, you know.
When people have no shame they become shameless and do stupid and demeaning things.
And wearing short skirts isnt exactly upholding your izzat now is it?
Izzat and Honour comes from modesty and chastity and righteousness. Unfortunately in todays world everyone just wants to be "modern" and have forgotten those values which give us that honour.

No offence to anyone this is just my opinion.
