'its so funny.. how people cant just keep to themselves... they have to come ahead and give me their illogical theories of life... badgering me to move on to the next chapter in the book of life... funny they don't understand... i wrote the book...'

30^th august' 08

'wobbleeesss..... soooo manyyy irrational beings on planet earth who seem to think they know me... they think im one of them... how much i pity them.. how much i wish god gave them some brains and told them how conspicuous they seem...'

14^th feb' 09

'she really thinks those lesser mortals then me can really give her what she wants.. keep apart give her.. can they even tolerate her irrational feebleness?? Who does she think she is?? Dumping me in front of the whole class...'

20^th feb' 09

'dad passed away....'

22^nd feb' 09

'i failed to..... i just did... it is true--- impossible is nothing...'

He turned the page as he took another sip of his coffee. As he read through, vague recollections of his self esteem rushed past him, beseeching him more to his lowness.

And now when he read it for the third time that day, he felt so nullified, so outrageously stupid. How could he have been so proud of his false pretentious being, he thought and sipped some more coffee.

When suddenly his mom called out to him.

'mayank??? Mayank beta?? Neecha aa mayu, dhekh tujhse milne kaun aaya hua hai!'

Dia- yaar nupur, tujhe aur gunjan ko aana hi padega. I mean main us ladke se akele kaise milne jaun?

Nupur- ofo dia. Tu akele thodi na ja rahi hai? Us camp mein puri Mumbai se pachaas log aayenge.

Dia- pachhaas aise log, jinko main nahi jaanti nupur. Aur aise logon se mujhe support nahi milega!

Nupur- to? Ofo dia, tu bhi na, waise to kisi bhi aire ghaire ke saath blind date par nikal padti hai, aur ye to tere bachpan ka dost samrat hai na!

Dia- bachpan ka dost nupur! Ab to main badi ho gayee hoon!

Nupur- ufff.. to kya ho gaya?

Dia- ummm..... mujhe... mujhe nahi pata. Lekhin tu aur gunjan aa rahe ho mere saath, aur ye final hai.

She said cutting off nupur as she was trying to find an excuse not to come, so she could avoid the gruesome outcomes of what had happened between her sister and her sisters ex- boyfriend, mayank Sharma, who dia had dumped because nupur had told her to do so.

Nupur had always thought guys in Mumbai were rude and matlabi. But mayank Sharma was way over the hedge. He was not only rude and matlabi but he had no respect for anyone in this world, let alone her sweet sister dia.

Initially when she had met him, she had thought not to mention anything to her sister, dia, of the guys arrogance. But soon without her own accord she fell head over heels in love with mayank, and blind folded her eyes to his arrogance.

She had even by passed the fact that he was dias boy friend. Her own thoughts had been on how handsome he was. She didn't even care or think of dia and mayank as a couple.

But soon as she saw more of dia and mayank as a couple, she came to admit the fact that her sister loved mayank alot, even if mayank showed no such regard as that towards her.

Then the day before valentines day, jealousy had finally taken over her, forcing her to tear them apart. That had been when she had gone and convinced her sister to dump him.

As time came along, nupur sort of lost interest in mayank. Why? She didn't understand. She would reason herself saying, probably because of the loss of ego in him. But the real reason had been that dia and mayank were not together anymore. Unaware of it herself, she always, somehow or the other fell for the same guy as dia.

You must be thinking, it must be coincidence. Well... probably a little deeper than that.

Nupur who had grown up to love her sister, always felt a strange attraction to her sisters choices. More precisely, she wanted to be like dia, think like dia, dress like dia.. in short she wanted to be dia.
