Hey bee!! Good to see you pen down your thoughts on the episode.. it was that kinda episode, the best so far and will remain one of the top10 scenes for me..

There was not one thing about the wedding sequence that I wish I could change or have it some other way. Right from the costumes..yes I personally really liked what RR was wearing..not very familiar with their customs, but the fiery orange silk shirt, the thick gold chain and bracelet and the traditional dhoti/lungi (dunno if its call something else down south), was just perfect for a groom..That sanskrit shlok chanting in the beginning when he is getting ready and Pallavi is walking towards the front door..it just set the right mood for what was to follow.. Her plain yellow cotton saree.. again a color considered auspicious and pious in hindu culture just like orange RR was wearing..

There were hardly any words spoken between the two and Pallavi actually didnt speak a word yesterday..yet Raghav knew exactly what was going on in her mind when they stood facing each other as soon as she stepped in the house.. Almost like he couldn't bear seeing her so troubled and so decided to first calm her nerves down and address her concerns before getting into anything else.. I dont think that was planned..

I also absolutely LOVED the mandap scene..can rewatch it on loop.. I might sound like a freak but that moment when he notices her foot when she is stepping on the mandap, I found it so intimate. People have fetish with how a woman or even a man's foot looks right? I for one, love nicely done nails, clean pedicured feet, be it a man or woman lol When she sat down next to him.. it was like the perrrrrrfect frame. Their expressions soooo on point even the body language clearly depicted their individual states of mind.

RR was so restrained yesterday..he wanted to quickly get done with the whole thing, lest the muhurat passes and his amma throws another tantrum.. but he was considerate of her feelings, aware of her conflicts and fears.. he showed patience and restrain both which don't come naturally to him.. In between those glares, one could also see him looking at her with concern and admiration.. She is a woman of honor, who keeps her word and would go to any length to protect her family..Im sure he recognizes that besides the fact that she looked so divine and pious in that yellow.. Even in the simplest of sarees she could get her hands on, she looked like a vision to behold.. especially when he puts the sindoor on her. I bet he couldn't take his eyes off her which is why he got visibly pissed on seeing unwanted people walking in.. I also liked how he told the pandit that there's no need of any formality when the pandit asked Pallavi to change(into a bridal attire).. He looked at her and realized she is not interested..wasn't even carrying anything to change into... On a normal day, he would have snapped at her..but yesterday, atleast to me it seemed he didn't wanna bother her.. To me that was very sweet..

Amma's smile was literally making me cringe today 🤔 Maana ki she's supposed to represent the fd and be happy to bring them together, but... why is she not even a little bit bothered about the suffering she's bringing to their plates? 🤔 She cornered Raghu, and he in turn cornered Pallu... and now both of them are so helpless 😒

Hawwww!! 😲 You shipping Farhad with someone else?? Nashe mein hai kya behen? 😆 Raghu ki tarah tune bhi appy fizz shuru kar diya? 🤪🤣

But seriously, I'm loving Keerti ❤️ Such a lovely person she is. Pallu will be lucky to have her as a friend and SIL

I actually love Krishna too, but she gets very little screen space 😭

I hope so tooThe precap pallu is lit 🔥🔥 Kash she continued wearing white saree throughout the function but amma will again interfere

🤣🤣I'm not shipping bas boli ke I'd have if kirti wasn't anna's behen🤣big differnce😎😆

Oh yeah krishna is also there...I hope she plays a role in clearing pallu coz she's the only one who knows about all the incidents and what led to pallu marrying raghav.

They proved yet again what amazing actors they both are! smiley32 Their eyes alone can speak everything... and today, words were not needed at all. They were both doing this for their family... Pallavi's eyes kept flitting to the police station footage while Raghav's kept glancing at the door, waiting for amma and Keerti. The way he was observing Pallavi throughout, you could see the harsh businessman who was finalising a deal, but you could also see a thin layer of concern underneath. It was the empathy of a man who knew what she was going through, because love for family is something he understands all too well. Like he said, he was just as helpless as she was in doing this. It's why he decided to show her the footage first before anything else — he wanted her to be assured that her efforts were working. He wanted that same assurance for himself too, that this desperate act of his would finally get him his family. But he knew he had to wait for his own wish, so he gave her hers first.

I especially loved the stepping into the mandap moment for Pallavi... you could see all the conflicted emotions in her eyes, while Raghav who was already seated kept watching her foot, waiting for her to step in. Even later on, Raghav will be the committed one in the marriage, waiting for her as she continues to be in two minds about him. She will want to love him, but afraid to trust him. Even in the false agreement, he had set everything up, but until Pallavi had decided to sign, he was nervous and tensed. In their marriage too, he will try everything there is to try, but he will be helpless until Pallavi makes her decision.

But like always, she will let go of her doubts and take the step forward, giving him what he wants. The difference will be, all these times she has been Pallavi Deshmukh, powerless against him, manipulated to bend to his will. But in love, she will be Pallavi Rao and all the power will be hers, and she will willingly choose the love and happiness he offers her. And one thing is clear, it'll be Raghav protecting this marriage... he was the one holding on to the gathbandhan tightly. Whenever Pallavi falters (as we no doubt will see in the future, with Dfam's emotional blackmail)... Raghu will hold her hands and guide her back to himself and their marriage. Just like he guided her hands to put on the varmaala today 😳

Shivangi, girl, I keep saying this over and over, but your eyes are GORGEOUS smiley42smiley42 I will never stop being in awe of them smiley42 You were on fire today! 🔥smiley32 I keep talking about Sai all the time, but today was totally your day ❤️ I couldn't take my eyes off you, not for a moment ❤️ Such a brilliant portrayal 👏

But amma, can you please wipe that smile off your face? It's sadistic and making me very uncomfortable. I have tried and tried to see you favourably, but you're making it very hard! smiley24 Can you at least pretend that you're a bit worried for what Pallavi might be going through? smiley24

(I know hum forumwaasis bhi inki shaadi celebrate kar rahe hai, but humaari baat alag hai smiley36 We know they're the leads of our show and with this shaadi we can see more of them and less of Dfam smiley39)

Btw, Raghav's expression when Aai and BWA arrived cracked me up a bit. He was like "mera amma aur behen to ab tak pohuncha nahi, but ye SKD ka family bina invitation tapak pada" smiley37 Told you guys, public transport wale humesha aage rehte hai smiley37

It was an amazing episode, simply in terms of chemistry and screen presence. We are so lucky to have these two as our leads! smiley42smiley27smiley32 TV waalo, please please watch the episode at 6.30 pm!

P.S. In the bts when I had seen her in the yellow saree, I hadn't liked it all that much. But somehow today, she looked perfect in it ❤️❤️

P.P.S. I love that when she didn't get up for the pheres, he didn't try to pull her up! That's such a typical scene in all the forced marriages of ITV, but here he actually sat back down again and talked her into doing it... nice one, CVs! 👍🏼

Glad you mentioned, was hoping someone will observe. That annoyance was so obvious.

Yes, I think this epi is going to my top 10 as well Mesmerizing!

I loved that sanskrit shlok scene opening! It really set the mood. And later the angsty version of the title track, that was good too. But honestly, SaiShi were so good today, even without any bgm they would've rocked 😍 Their eyes, their body language... that's where the words were being spoken.

RR's costume I had liked from the beginning, though I'm not culturally aware either, so Idk if it was the proper authentic costume. What surprised me was Pallu's saree. In the bts, she looked like a simple girl who had been through a storm... no strength to carry on with the wedding. I think the plain saree accentuated that feeling. But in the actual epi, she somehow managed to look like a goddess! 😍 She still was the same broken girl, but I had a very real feeling that this was a phoenix rising from the ashes. Maybe it's the havankund... it's burning Pallavi Deshmukh to transform into Pallavi Rao, a stronger and more powerful version of herself. I really got goosebumps watching this shaadi ❤️❤️

Leave the mandap scene, I have watched their entire shaadi twice 😛 No shame 😆 I thought the mandap scene was my favorite too, but the varmala scene, pheres, sindoor... I love them all equally The varmala scene was passionate, pheres were graceful, sindoor scene was sheer emotion ❤️❤️ This entire shaadi was so beautiful I'm glad they went against the ITV trope of carrying on a wedding for weeks, it really would've taken away the impact that this one had 💓

Yep, that's what I'm saying, RR's concern was visible even through his coldness. He doesn't want to hurt her any more than he already has. The Deshmukh tamasha was justified to him bcz it was payback for what he believed her to have done. But this time, he was making her suffer for no reason, and he knew it. I think somehow, he really believes that he'll leave her alone after this wedding Idk man, iss admi par zara bhi bharosa nahi hai mujhe 🤣 He has no idea how relationships work 🤪 I am definitely very interested in their post-marriage life 😆

Thanks for the lovely comment dear! 🤗

Loved your write up, especially the above lines.

In keeping with the role reversal trend on this show, it's the ML who will fight for the marriage and its sanctity rather than the FL. I am loving it.

Also, even though the circumstances were difficult for both of them, I'd say considering his personality, he was being relatively respectful to her. I too am glad there was no manhandling and sitting back down to talk to her was a nice touch that showed again what kind of man he is. A lot of things surprised us yesterday in terms of execution, even though it was in line with what happens in normal, non-melodramatic marriages. Why? Because we are so used to seeing the same thing in every other show that we don't consider alternatives without interference, tamasha, melodrama, etc. The CVs did, so props to them.

Such a beautiful analysis!

It would be an understatement to say that I loved the episode. Our forum and fandom in all SM is excited. Such a fabulous episode it was.

Sai and Shivangi was phenomenal! 👏👏

You know I loved their color combination.

Dark orange and yellow, these two colors are healing colors. It heals the mind.

And orange is the combination of red and yellow, we all know what red represents and yellow represents sun, warmth, joy, happiness... I loved that connection. And or☺️ange is a color people love or hate. Connect that with his character. It's so apt.

I loved her yellow Saree, so simple yet so refreshing. It had that serenity, subtile one and him in bright colors, as always bright and loud.

And that first scene, her ascending to be Mrs Rao and him descending from Mr. Rao. I loved how they showed it together. And then they came together to become Raghvi. ☺️

There were alot to talk about.

Raghav has two sides in him which showed clearly during the CCTV scene , one small part that trusts her and another one which questions that trust. How he had already started the procedure to release Nikil before she came showed that bit of trust and when he said that, don't cheat now, the other part questioned his trust. So many beautiful subtile scens.

Loved it.
