He needs to acknowledge the reason first then he will overccome his shortcomings while he interacts with her. I think he still believes she left him because she is angry with him as he wronged her. As result he unknowingly he creates uncomfotable situations when interacting with her. Once he gets this he will be more sensitive towards her need as an individual. I think its both. When she stayed over the first night when Aditya was not there Priya remembered the good times and then when Aditya told her he will always be there for her and it was a misunderstanding between then. She was looking at all the things in the bedroom and remembered the happy times.

There is no rumour and i dont think he will believe it. So no problems there.
