So here are my two cents on the controversy.

It is not very cool to call people ugly on their face or behind their back but neither is making 'personal' comments cool😵.

I also do not agree that we should have TV shows in standard Marathi only. On the contrary we should have shows that have smatterings of a dialect depending on the region in which show is happening😎. Just as in RKC, Malvani usage is significant 👍🏼 there should be serials where usage of Varhadi, Ahirani, Agri and of other Marahti dialects is significant⭐️.

Haha....gulkhand aani gulab paani.

It was filmy IMO. We've been fed that it's romantic for many years in movies. Their relationship is developing into love so the episode was good in that sense.

Smattering would mean in small amount... which is ok like in MNB. Can you please elaborate if you meant smattering or significant? Because if it's significantly in regional dialect other regions will not understand. BTW, I don't watch RKC because I'm phattu...so have no idea of Malvani usage there.

Pan khara tar tya serial madhe ghabaranya sarakha kahich nahiye. Amhich ajun tya madhe horror element shodtoy😉.

I meant start with a smattering but increase it to an extent where people who are not from that region will understand what is being said 👍🏼. After all it is still Marathi.

Malvani is used in RKC in right amount but it is still more than usage of other dialects in any serial that I have seen and there is nothing wrong in that😎. For instance, I remember a serial called Katti-Batti, I think it was from Vidarbha region but I don't remember many Varhadi words used in KB😒. RKC added new Marathi words to my vocabulary.

Also we have been exposed to Malvani more than to other Marathi dialects hence it is easier to understand Malvani words than, say Varhadi words.

But you are right we will not understand serials in pure Malvani or pure Ahirani or if the majority of the serial is in that dialect. Maybe they should provide Marathi subs for such serials👍🏼. If I am not wrong Closed Caption are a must by law in USA .

Horror element gayabch hota RKC2 madhun khoop mahinyanpasun😈. tyamule achanakach horror element anaycha praytan kahi farsa jamlela nahi ahe. RKC2 is more of a thriller than horror.

I think this rose delivery yesterday was OTT. After Abhi's first fiasco in proposing to Asavari I thought he would be more careful in approaching Asavari and Asavari would be more hesitant with Abhi's overtures. But looks like a different CV wrote the script yesterday and we found Abhi going all out with roses and a very sugary song and Asavari responding with a smile. It looked a bit out of character for both (keeping in mind the earlier fiasco episodes).

Aso, at least we are finding the romance progressing at a quick pace and with no rona dhona at the moment.

Bhetupunha & Iluvsakshi - Hoy ghabrat ...RKC1 madhye horror element hotaa naa so I never ventured into watching RKC2. Besides finding time was another issue.

Assuming most of us here are from Mumbai.....Mumbai being a melting pot of all different languages, we're exposed to some regional language at some point. Be it a friend, colleague or neighbour. I had a Malvani neighbour so understand Malvani fairly well. With the other dialects like Ahirani and Varhadi, you don't find them in Mumbai - Pune. So it's difficult to understand. IMO.

I had no idea about the requirement of close caption in US. I think it's more so for the differently abled.

Yes i was also surprised by nj reaction cos she did reprimand him before. Such type of violin show is generally put up by yur bf/gf not by reg friends. Well i agree it was out of character for nj for sure
