Frankly speaking, ours parents generation are more into prime time tv. Tey religiously tv baghat nasle tari the idiot box keeps blarring from 7pm to 11pm everyday, thus contributing to TRPs. But with our generation, high speed wifi, smart tvs, amazon prime, netflix..the trends are changing. I recently saw an advertisement about choose ur own channel pack..like only zee/sony/star for like a mere 40 bucks a month. When instead of 300rs monthly pack they come down to a 40rs pack, u know channels are not doing great. Our generation is more interested in web series which are limited epis and watch as per ur convenience, anywhere on the go. Prime time tv is taking a hit. Obviously if u dish out such crap who is going to watch.

Not for a min you feel it's going off track, the story line is always intact and the question of filler episodes hardly arises
