They are so irritating whenever I find something good about Karna and feel like not hating him, they come with his non existent glories and I am again averse to Karna.

I think if somehow real Karna comes onto this earth, even he would be irritated by them. He would be like main kya tha tumlog kya Bana diye mujhe

By the way Karna ko padhna aata hoga? I am sure the basic writings would have started by then considering we have excavations of around 8th century BCE. But were the people taught reading n writing? Or were they simply taught warfare

I mean we never heard GuruDrona teaching them anything excluding warfare and they were the princes

They studied the Vedas for sure. Moreover, a ruler had to study the Nyay Shashtra for sure. Obviously they knew how to read and write.

It is said that Vidur and Yudhisthir used to know Mleccha language which is considered to be the English language.
