Actually, Satyaki did appear in BRC on a few occasions:

Subhadra haran - Satyaki was one of those who wanted to make war on Arjun for insulting the Yadava hospitality by abducting their princess 😕
Udyog parva - when Balarama suggested a conciliatory approach towards the Kauravas, it was Satyaki who made a fiery speech condemning him for being a coward
Day 14 - Satyaki had his battle w/ Drona, and after being badly wounded, still went ahead to follow Arjun, and got into a battle w/ an unnamed warrior who almost killed him until Arjun saved him (the unnamed warrior being Bhurishrava)

But Satyaki did a lot more in the war. On day 5, 10 of his sons were killed by Bhurishrava, and they 2 were locked a fierce battle after that. Satyaki also defeated Karna in battle after Jayadrath's death (Watcher can elaborate) and successfully saved Dhrishtadyumna from getting killed by Drona and Ashwatthama on several occasions.

Satyaki was easily the #3, if not the #2 warrior on the Pandava side, after Bhima & Arjun

I hav read a lot of Satyaki and he fought for the Pandavas...

Satyaki is the commander of one Akshauhini of the Pandava army During the War...

Elaboration on Satyaki vs Karna.

It has been mentioned that Karna's charioteers skill was no match for Daruka ( The charioteer specially given by Krishna to Satyaki for that specific day ). During the fight itself, it has mentioned many a times that Satyaki was using the advantage of Daruka's skill and Karna had no luxury of this - till his last day (Shalya), If you read the last 17th day battle of Karna, he chariot was not once destroyed.

The first fight between Satyaki and Karna ended with Karna being made car-less, which is nothing new, Satyaki having an advantage of Daruka is the reason he was not made carless

In the later fights - the words like ' drowning in the Satyaki ocean" makes no sense, if you read the specific fight - you will understand that Karna was attacked by a collection of warriors which included Arjuna, Bhima, Dhristdyumna and Satyaki, when the former three were not able to gain an upper-hand on Karna, Satyaki cut off his bow and within the next second - Drona and others came to support Karna - as the latter was fighting with several warriors mentioned above. The words like Drowning in the Satyaki ocean made no sense since Karna was fighting with 4 best Pandava warriors.

If anyone would like me to elaborate with citations - I will be happy to do it.
