How is Kunti manipulative? The mantra was hers, and she shared it with Madri only because Pandu had asked her to. Madri deceived her by using it to get 2 children, so anyone in Kunti's position would have denied to give it the second time.

My feelings exactly. It was gracious of Kunti to have shared the mantra with her rival for Pandu's love. Kunti had earned the mantra through her hard work of pleasing the hot tempered Rishi Durvasa. Madri got it on a platter.

BTW Ashwini twins were two brothers so it should actually have needed mantras twice. Perhaps they came as a package deal!😆

Yeah, Kunti had no need to share the mantra which she had gotten through her hard work, especially since Madri had always taunted her about her "low birth", but out of the generosity of her heart and because she felt pity for the childless Madri, she shared it with her. Even I don't understand how the Ashwini twins came as a package deal. Twins generally differentiate themselves. 😕

I dont see how Madri is negative or manipulative she is ready to go to vanvas with he rhusband like a good wife,she readily accepted her mistake.She is just competitive when it comes to Kunti that is it
