Madhu's POV
The whole day what i did was just relax out and have some nice time with Roma
and my grandparents which turned out to be great fun but i did miss all the others.
Adi and Anjali had gone to college and would be returning after a while and
Deepali and me didn't get along very well anyway. The whole time she seemed to
Jealous of me or something and if we talked she would end up giving sarcastic
comments to me so i rather avoided her.
On top Rishabh had to go for his shoot so he wasn't here to spend time with me
either which just left Trishna to who i didn't want to talk to.
"Madhu, you go and start getting ready now, we have a party to attend and we
have to reach the venue by 6pm." Party? OH crap! I totally forgot about the party
which Arjun's Dad was hosting and Arjun himself had invited me. I wonder if i
should go or not...it's not like i knew anyone here yet and also they all would be
big personalities, but Rishabh would also be there naa? So what is there to worry
about? And also it would be rude if I wouldn't attend as Arjun had asked me so
nicely. Finally making up my mind i asked,
"Ermm, Is there any dress code or something?"
"No, just dress appropriate as it is a high class party.." replied Roma with a smile.
Excusing myself i proceeded towards my room to pick out something for the party.
Finally deciding with a black sequence sari which was given to me by Maa herself
as she always claimed that i look beautiful and stunning in them. I still had time to
get ready so headed back downstairs as by now Adi and Anjali also would have
returned. Not paying much attention, walking down the hallway it took me by
complete shook as both twins jumped on me, hugging. I tell you, any moment i
would fall backwards on the hard marble floor! Finally parting they both gave me
huge smile and greeted me and started to talk about their day taking me back to
where our rooms where. All five of us had our rooms in the same hallway with
Deepali's room coming first then Trishna's which is opposite to mine and then the
two last room's which belonged to the twins.
"Anjali! Come here for a second!" shouted Deepali as we walked past her room
which made us three turn back and walk into her bedroom. It was the same size
as the others but with different decor, which seemed to perfectly reflect her
personality.
"Yes Di?"
"Errmm...can i borrow your straightener...mine seems to be not working and i
need to get ready for the party.." she answered in her stuck up voice.
"Sure Di, I get it right away, by the way what are you wearing tonight?" she asked
in curiosity. As far as i knew Deepali she would be defiantly wearing a designer
dress tonight and will also now not leave a stone unturned to show off. And i was
right she smirked wickedly, walking towards her wardrobe, taking out a sleeveless
and backless black maxi dress which had a slit at the front.
"WoW Di this is really nice!" examined Adi to which Anjali also agreed.
"Of course it is designed by one of the best Designers in the UK!" I couldn't help
but smile.
"Madhu, i believe it would be your dream to meet the young achiever team which
works for Desire!" (Guys i have no knowledge about fashion designing or anything
in that field, therefore don't even know if something like this exists!)
I wanted to laugh that very second but just to see how far this could go i smiled
and replied.
"Oh Yes! Certainly! So have you meet them?" i acted as if i was very curious about
it.
"I Certainly have! As you would know that they are a team of five and i have
meet 3 of them, Jane Rankings, Errr...Mark.."
"Osborn.."
"Yeah, Mark Osborn and Mukund Dixit.."
"And what about the other two?" i so badly wanted to laugh and tell her that the
dress she was feeling so proud of was designed by me alone in the group, and if
she knew that then she would have never chosen to wear that.
"No not yet.." smiling eveliy she continued, "Don't worry Madhu...i will make sure
that you too can meet them, after all you are my cousin!" Did she just really try to
insult me?
"No need, i already know them and that too very closely." All three looked at me
confused. Getting out my phone i tapped the main button which displayed my
Lock screen background picture which had the five of us. We all are very close
good friends since years now. It was a selfie of me and Mukund at the bottom
leaning back onto Mark and Jane, and Oskii (aka Oscar) had his arms around us.
Gosh i really am missing them all as all the fun times came back rushing in my
mind. Well turning back towards to Deepali, the sight was priceless! All the colour
had drained from her face and she truly looked embarrassed. Looking towards
Adi and Anjali they both bursted out laughing to which i also joined in not being
able to hold it in any longer. WE started to walk out of her room when i turned
back smirking, "By the way, that dress was designed by me, and i truly appreciate
all the comments you gave." and with that we walked out of there to once again
end up in unstoppable laughter.
