excuse me in indian cultures sindoor is compalsary during wedding ceremonyand in every indian relgion there is a special ceremony of putting sindoor in bride's mang and only bride groom put sindoor and most intresting part is he has to bribe or sort of tax to his sister in law(saali) after kanyadan then only he can claim her wife.but mangalsutra is not compalsary in every relgion

plzzz don't get into a cultural debate... indian culture is sooo diverse, the rituals are very different from one state to another...All i know is that they are very much married couple and very much accepted by their respective families and society,...
