So still it is the same night and she is returning on the same night.

Maybe she was out for some hours, like she might have gone for a walk around 6 or 7 and now it might be midnight, cos it is still dark outside.

So she didn;t stay away for a whole night.

Except with VD and some other scenes, all other scenes of DD, her BD was used, maybe she is busy with holi preparations of the channel.
