I dunno if you agree with me the places which are totally religious n God believing are the ones with highest crimes against women. i'll come to that
. i'm muslim u know . i believe ther is a god u also know.
aaj tak mainay bohat kam sahi muslim dekhay hain, maybe 1 in many 10000S. so when people start blaming any religion for any wrong doing i would say at least they are not good followers of islam if they were they wouldn't be doing all these wrongs in this world.the guidence is there but people follow what suits them. which is all wrong and against religious teachings.
so people don't get to see if a true follower. of any religion. it's the same in all religions the 10 commandments are the basics of 3 major religions,
soory complete later someone just came.
ans to above i think in middle east it might not be as much even though they are supposed to be very religious,for wo reasons IMO 1 they have many more than 1 wife so maybe it's less tempting to go and commit a crime nature, 2nd the punishment is very severe.
in south asia is also very religious, but the corruption is rife so people are less afraid or not deterred by the law. it's on paper only. so all the crime no punishment.
now coming to westeren culures and all countries not so many religious communities. it's legal age of consent is mostly 16 . but here even 12years are supplied with protection so not to get themselves preg. but common knowledge that it happens all the time.
so although less rapes it can' be said that it's because they are not very religious directly.
it's thought odd if a person is still not expereienced by the time they get married whether they are 16/18 or any age. so the are freely sleeping around and before marriage many men and women have had multiple relationships.
yet rapes are very common. just heard 1 mile down from my road someone got dragged and raped at 2.30 1st jan. that's 2 and a half hour after the new year started. probably someone returning from a pary.
all kinds of reasons are given for these deprived people. the excuse of being drunk , fight with the girlfriend taken out on next person they can find oor even they are so disguting nobody wants to slep with them.
so i would say it's probably more of a social problem its people that are frustrated with life in general take it out this way on anyone they can even if it's a baby, otherwise they can't really be getting any pleasure of s..ual nature and not because of religious restrictions. don't know if u will see my point after such along explanation but that is my opinion.
