I watched the Saturday Special episode and I've decide to do a combined TIN for both the Thursday and Saturday episode since they really just flow together. Again, this TIN is really really MAIN points (I might go a little in detail some places, but I am going to really try not to do that). Any who, like always, read at your own risk! 😆
- When Dutta finds out that Supriya was 'killed' and didn't die in an accident, he is angry at the thought that someone dared attack his home and people he "loves". But when he heard her father "cry", it was like he was reminded that Supriya wasn't just related to him but was in fact related to other people too and her "death" has caused them pain. I loved how he humbly folded his hands in front of the father, asking for his forgiveness in putting his daughter in danger. I loved it! A humble don? *sigh*
- And once he'd apologized for Supriya's death, he was reminded of how her death was result of an attack on HIM (albeit emotional) and that infuriated him. He radiated anger and rage - in fact at one point he even turned vicious with revenge as he asked Baji to bring over the culprit without so much as a "scratch" on him so Dutta could "punish" him fully. He was so hurt and so livid with anger at the personal attack on as personal a venue as his wedding that he wanted to extract complete revenge (like he had with Seema for having hurt him on a personal level by insulting his love). The fact that an innocent person lost their life for an attack meant for him was just unbearable to him - even later (in the Saturday's episode) when he comes down and sits by Supriya's "body" talking to her, he apologizes for her having to die for his sins. Dutta likes to be in the forefront of his battles and the fact that someone else had had to shield an attack meant for him by taking it upon them upset him beyond words. *sigh*
- When Dutta folds his hands in front of Baji asking him to bring over the culprit, I felt it was his way of showing the urgency of his words - not that Baji needed proof to understand what Dutta wanted, but Dutta NEEDED that culprit found and brought before him. He NEEDED it. And he wanted Baji to understand that. And I LOVED how Baji was infuriated for Dutta - He'd drag the guy through the streets and throw him before Dutta, he said. But he did not need Dutta to fold hands in front of him - he did not need to see Dutta weak. He did not WANT some "jerk" break Dutta and the fact that this attack on Dutta had come pretty close to doing just that PISSED him off! *sigh*
- *Note to self*: If you're ever trying to elope from your wedding to a gangster with your boyfriend, make sure you don't stop to twirl, romance or "eat wind" (as Jaz calls it) before you get out of city limits. Enough said. 🤣
- Alright, I am going to try to keep it short which is why this point might seem "patchy" as far as idea's flow is concerned - and I apologize for that in advance. When Dutta walks up the stairs to his room did anyone else notice the similarity between the setting when "Dutta Patil" appeared to Dutta Bhao and this scene? I did. To me it looked like that day Dutta Patil had emerged from the light and beckoned Dutta Bhao to follow him back to him and today Dutta Patil had walked away from the light and stepped into Dutta Bhao's darkness again. Sort of a transition from Dutta Patil to Dutta Bhao. Dutta Patil walks into the room and looks at the decor and he is reminded of the "love he's lost" and the "pain he's told he deserves" - the NOISE of his subconscious mind overwhelms him and he covers his ears almost voluntarily to shut them out. To me that was a very "child-like" and innocent gesture - like a child who shuts his/her eyes when they're trying to "hide" from the world. It was innocent and I really loved it for some reason. When he crumbled to the floor, we saw a parallel "death" of Dutta Patil (again!). He crumpled to the floor and cried out in pain like he had at the riverbanks ten years ago. But when he looked up after that, there were no tears and no pain - THAT was Dutta Bhao. He stood up and walked towards the one person he felt had been wronged and victimized in this situation and the fact that she had to "pay for his sins" was unacceptable to him. And that's when he decides to avenge her - but THIS was Dutta Bhao! Dutta Patil died as the sound of those painful cries died out.
- So I agree that Kaala did not HAVE to run straight to Aayi Sahib when Kishore told her too - but I feel she was trying not to push her luck. Kishore had heard her talk to the mavali and she had managed to "shut him up" by reminding him of Anay. But that didn't mean that she had accepted Kishore as an inferior opponent. She wasn't stupid enough to dismiss him as weak and that's why I feel she left when he asked her to. He was on a "leash" right now but that didn't mean that if he was tempted enough he wouldn't BREAK that leash and destroy her. So I feel that was brilliance on her part to not take Kishore as an easy opponent. As was the fact that she managed to explain the whole plan to the mavali while simultaneously pacifying Aayi Sahib! Do I hear the sound of claps? *realizes it's the sound of HER claps* Oh.. Umm.. *embarassed muh* My bad! 😆
- LOL! Supriya's dad was such a drama queen when he's thought his daughter had died but the minute he found out it wasn't her, did anyone else see the hint of a smile play on his face? What a jerk! Someone DIED here! If it isn't your daughter it's still SOMEONE's daughter! A little compassion would be nice! No wonder Supriya's how she is - I see the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree! *disgusted muh*
- I liked how Baji was being sensitive to pain the news of Supriya's affair would cause Dutta - he wanted to take Dutta away from public and not let him feel any more humiliated than he would (Fool me once and all..). But Dutta was adamant - it was now a test of his "strength and character" and he wanted to prove that he COULD take it! *sigh* Talking about Dutta hearing the news, breaking those glasses and bottles looked VERY realistic! And painful! Unless that's just me.. 😆
- So something occurred to me as I watched Supriya's father cry throughout the episode. Here was a guy who thought his daughter had died - he was in excruciating pain because losing your child is HORRIBLE. And Supriya hadn't considered that ONCE before she went ahead with the plan? Consider karna toh choro, baad mein she was twirling in the park and wasn't in the least worried about her parent's condition? Kasam sey kya family hai! Parents hain k bachi sey baat nahi karte aur shadi fix kar dete hain don k saath (albeit a gentleman don!) and beti hai k she doesn't skip a beat before making her parents go through the ordeal of thinking she's dead. Ridiculous! 🤢
- Precap Thing: *jumps in excitement* Enough said! 😆
