Mihir has dug this hole himself and he acknowledged it at least today so that’s something. Now we can be spared of him taunting and yelling at Tulsi once and for all in this regard which is a beginning.

I think the writers are going with this character the way they are to show the consequences of a child spoilt by their parents or in this case, a single parent. Usually we see the sons being the spoiled one but they’ve refreshingly shown a spoiled daughter which is not shown a lot on TV. Even arrogant daughters who are snobs are usually shown as being considerate of their parents and families. These characters are also mostly played by the character who is the sister of the male lead more often than not to portray her as the evil nanad archetype eventually when the usually poor heroine gets married to the brother. Here they’re being bold enough to make the girl the daughter of the protagonists.

I think the writers intend to show the rather dire and tragic consequences of raising your children like Pari eventually even if it is not a fun ride for us as viewers who have to wait and get frustrated by the lack of punishment or consequences faced by Pari. But that’s perhaps precisely the point.

Pari stated in her tirade yesterday that she didn’t once think of anything when she fell in love regarding the issues that might befall her because she was assured that her father would be there for her. That’s precisely the problem that the makers want to address perhaps. Parents who spoil their children like Mihir did here do so out of love and affection for their children; kids learn to take advantage of the love of their parents and expect to be protected from the repercussions of anything and everything they do owing to their parents, not because they are sure that their parents love them, but because they are so sure that their parents love them blindly. They know their parents would do anything for them even if they are wrong and so they can do anything and get away with everything.

These kids are not at fault for this attitude though because the parents have failed here. It is the responsibility of the parents to teach their kids accountability and responsibility. It is the parents who have to instil in their children the ability to make decisions with foresight and understand the outcome of the same before they leap into action. It is parents who must let them suffer sometimes so that they might learn some hard and harsh lessons that they will need to survive.

Because at the end of the day even if someone has parents who are powerful, influential; they’re still mortals and a day will come when the child who has grown up to be irresponsible, reckless, selfish and dangerous will repeat the same mistakes again because that’s who they’ve become but they won’t have their parents around to protect them anymore.

Pari might and will ultimately face the music. But first she must get to the point where there’s no return. Mihir is starting to see his mistakes when it comes to his daughter but it is still too little too late. Pari hasn’t yet even begun her journey of downfall because she has to get what she wants first. Sometimes the things we want the most are the things that destroy us.

Good episode today. Mihir sees what an idiot he has been and accepts that he was wrong, he has spoiled Pari.

The audacity of Ranvijay’s parents to have the attitude that they did about that jewellery… looks like Pari is about to get the saas sasur she deserves 😍 Wouldn’t surprise me if Ranvijay has sold the original jewellery and replaced them with some cheap and fake imitations himself while his parents know nothing but the entitlement was telling. I hope they’re not going to be shown going back to some village as they were before. Hope they stay and make sure Pari finally experiences everything she accused Ajay and his family of.

Also urghh, can the makers just stop playing songs on Noyna? This isn’t even funny. She’s not a tragic character who needs to sacrifice her unrequited one sided love because the hero doesn’t even know she loves him despite being her BFF forever. These are not Rahul Anjali and Tina here. Noyna hasn’t sacrificed her love like Anjali did because Rahul was too blind to notice she’s a girl until she got a makeover and then too horny to ignore the reality staring him in the face all along once he sees……

This is a woman who is trying to wreck a home, destroy a marriage, ruin another woman’s life, so stop with all the songs for her.

Even there were some foreshadowing dialogues by Tulsi yesterday - ek din tum yaha aogy aur ghar me sab theek hojyega as well as a Vrinda related promo by Starplus.....so definitely a big track is awaiting....Vrinda was introduced in parallel to Tulsi so Mihir ko theek to wohi kareygy....
