As we know the serial KHNK and the KHNK forum is getting more and more popular by each passing day. Many new people need an introduction to the serial of KHNK and its characters so that they can start watching it.
So we have decided to start this topic which will act like a "Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka Guide" which will introduce the people to KHNK, its story so far and its characters. This idea is borrowed from the Kasamh se forum.
Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka: Brief Summary
Nimmo is a girl from a typical middle-class family who is married to a boy from the most successful business family. Luck has never favoured Nimmo, but she has remained fun loving, confident and has a positive approach towards life. She is very content and satisfied with whatever she has.
Nimmo has two younger sisters, Swati and Naina. Both of them quite different from her. Naina wants to be a Miss India and wants to marry a rich man while Swati is highly practical, bold and wants to marry a guy who either has his own news channel or should have enough money to open one of his own and for that... 'age' is no bar.
Nimmo has a very strange relationship with God and together they share a very complex understanding. She falls in love with her Boss, Vikrant but Vikrant is in love with her younger sister, Naina and so Nimmo gives up her love for the happiness of her sister.
Nimmo accepts the fact that she will never get her first love, Vikrant and decides to move on with her life but then her life is turned upside down when she has to marry the handsome and confused millionaire Kunal Sehgal.....
Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka: The story So Far....
Kya hoga Nimmo Ka starts with an introduction to the sweet, lovable and accident prone girl, Nimmo. She lives with family and is very contented with her life untill joins the Sehgal industries....
Nimmo's simple life is twisted when she falls in love with her boss, Vikrant. Nimmo instantly falls in love with this handsome, sweet and simple man but fate has something else in store for her and she soon finds out that Vikrant is in love with her younger sister, Naina.
Nimmo decides to give up her love for the happiness of her sister. Nimmo tries to forget her past and start again but soon her family starts facing financial crisis and Nimmo is forced to marry the rich eligible bachler, Kunal Sehgal. Kunal and Nimmo marry on contract basis for one year. Kunal's grandfather had put up a condition that Kunal should marry within a certain time period or all his property would go to a trust. So Kunal and Nimmo decide to do a contract marriage and get divorced after a year. The only people who know about the contract marriage are Nimmo, Kunal, Kantaben, KK(kunal's butler) and Rishabh.
Nimmo and Kunal initially hate each other but soon become best of friends and really start sharing a special relationship of trust and friendship with each other. There are constant efforts to throw Nimmo out of the Sehgal house by Kunal's dadi and his aunty as they think that Nimmo is not up to their high society status.
Adding another twist to the story is Natassha, Kunal's ex girlfriend. Kunal is in love with Natassha or so he thinks and Nimmo decides to unite Kunal and Natassha but Nimmo falls in love with Kunal in the process...
On the other hand Naina has dumped Vikrant because she thinks that Vikrant is not rich enough to satisfy all her needs and Vikrant finds out that Nimmo was in love with him once..
Dadi makes Kunal and Nimmo adopt a girl named Krishna after Kunal and Nimmo fake a report that Nimmo can never bear a child.
Kunal and Natassha get together but life takes a turn and Kunal makes a business deal which results in a very big loss and dadaji disowns Kunal and throws him out of the house without a single penny. In this 6 months when Kunal is deprived of his wealth, Kunal, with the support of Nimmo and her family and some of his loyal friends and cousins, and gets successful and falls in love with Nimmo.
After 6 months, they find out that this was all a plan by dadaji to give Kunal a chance to prove himself. Now its time for Kunal and Nimmo to seperate as the one year of their contract is up and Pam reveals the contract marriage to everyone. Nimmo decided to leave Mumbai and go to delhi. On the railway station, Kunal confesses his love for Nimmo but Nimmo refuses to accept that she loves Kunal and tells Kunal that natassha is the one for him. Nimmo leaves for Delhi.
The show takes a 1 year leap and Nimmo returns to Mumbai. Kunal and Natassha are married though they lead a very unhappy married life. Samar and dadiji have become positive. A new person enters Nimmo's life, Palaash, who is very simple and sweet. Nimmo pretends that she doesn't love Kunal anymore but both Kunal and Nimmo miss each other a lot.
Will Nimmo be unlucky in love again? Will Kunal and Nimmo ever unite? Is it their destiny to stay together? To find out answers to all these questions, stay tuned to KHNK from Monday to thursday at 10:30 p.m

GOD: He plays the role of God or a messenger of God who helps Nimmo out of trouble and passes comments on Nimmo's life. He passes wise advices and is constantly reassuring the viewers that whatever is happening in Nimmo's life is for her best.
Mathuria Family:
Nimmo:
A simple middle class girl . Very different from her sisters, she lives and loves life to the fullest. She shares a special relationship with God and blames him for everything bad that ever happens to her.Her luck never favours her and she is always into some trouble or the other in life at the end of which she blames God for laughing at her. She is very accident prone. She marrys a rich and handsome millionaire, Kunal Sehgal on contract basis for one year to support her family's financial needs but falls in love with Kunal unknowingly...
Anand (Nimmo's father):
Neeta (Nimmo's mother):The owner of a boutique that has some of the top celebrities in town as it's customers. She is a complete wannabe socialite. She hopes to become a part of this star-studded stratum through her two daughters who are aspirants of the same line. She is very supportive towards all her daughters.

Swati (Nimmo's sister): She is a journalist. Hard working and ambitious, she is a focused person who wantes to be independent and hates it when her father keeps waiting for her to come back from the office. She is very good at heart and loves her family a lot.

Naina(Nimmo's sister): She is the youngest sister and a wannabe model. She is sweet at times but is hopelessly ill-informed. She is a gold digger most of the time. She was in love with Vikrant but dumps him when she discovers that he is not very rich and influencial.

Kantaben (servant but is considered a family member):She is the servant of the house who came in with Neeta from her parents' place after Neeta's marriage. She is very caring and loving and helps in the tailoring shop as well. She is blunt, straightforward and entertaining. She is considered as a family member in the Mathuria Family. She is one of the 5 people who know that Kunal and Nimmo's marriage is on contract basis. She is very sweet and extremly funny. She steals the whole show with her funny one liners

Vallab(Nimmo's uncle):Vallab is Anand's brother and is really caring and nice.

Ketki (Nimmo's aunty):Ketki is Vallab's wife. She is really funny too. She is also really caring and nice.

Kandy (Nimmo's cousin):Candy is the son of Vallab and kaki. He is very nice and friendly but is not shown a lot in the serial yet.

The important Sehgals (The members of the sehgal family who have had a role to play in any of the KHNK tracks)
Kunal Sehgal:He is a rich and handsome millionaire. One of the most eligible bachler. He is a very confused person. He is really sweet and caring and is really adorable. In short he is every girl's dream and the perfect modern day Prince Charming.
He is the most efficient one in his family from his generation kids and handles most of the Sehgal business. He is also the heir of 80% of the Sehgal property which makes many of the family members jealous of him and want to harm him.

Amardeep Sehgal(Kunal's grandfather): He is Kunal's dadaji.He is a typical punjabi grandfather and shares a sweet and caring relationship with his grandson Kunal. He is very close to Kunal as he was the one who brought Kunal up after the early death of Kunal's father.

Preet Sehgal(Kunal's grandmother): She is Kunal's dadi. She loves Kunal and trusts him the most because he is the most efficient child in the family.She is a powerful personality and is the head of the Sehgal industries. She is selfish and cares a lot about her high society status. She wants to throw Nimmo out of the house at any cost and wants to marry Kunal to Natassha.

Pushi(Kunal's choti dadi): She is Preet Sehgal's younger sister. She is a lot like her sister and is selfish and cunning. She supports her sister's intentions to throw Nimmo out of the Shegal house.

Shraddha Sehgal(Kunal's mother): Kunal's mother. She is a widow and from a middle class family. She shares a father-daughter relationship with her father-in-law. She loves her sons but Kunal doesn't talk to her and seems to be upset with her due to some misunderstandings created between them by dadiji. She really likes Nimmo. She is hated by Preet Sehgal, Pushi and Pam who often insult her.

Aniket Sehgal(Kunal's uncle):Amardeep Sehgal's second son. He is selfish,corrupt and greedy.He is jealous of Kunal because Kunal is the hier of most of the Sehgal Property. He is using Kunal's younger brother, Samar, to get to Kunal's property.

Parminder/Pam Sehgal(Aniket's wife/Kunal's aunty): She is Aniket Sehgal's wife and she, like her husband, is jealous of Kunal and wants to get to his property. She follows Preet Sehgal around and acts like her chamchi in order to impress her. She supports Preet Sehgal's evil intentions to throw Nimmo out of the house.

Varsha Sehgal(Kunal's aunty): She is Raj Sehgal's wife. She is a typical gujarati and is really close to Shraddha Sehgal. She likes Nimmo a lot and doesn't want her marriage with Kunal to break at any cost.

Samar Sehgal(Kunal's brother): He is Kunal's younger brother . He is extremly jealous of Kunal as Kunal is given all the importance in the family and in the business by dadaji and dadiji. He is being used by Aniket Sehgal who plans to make use of Samar's bitterness towards Kunal to get to his property.

Rishabh Sehgal(Kunal's cousin/Aniket's son): He is Kunal's cousin and his close friend. He is Aniket Sehgal's elder son but is totally opposite his parents. He shares a sweet and caring relationship with Kunal and is one of the 5 people who know that Kunal's marriage with Nimmo is actually a contract marriage.

Riti Sehgal(Kunal's cousin/Varsha's daughter): She is Varsha Sehgal's daughter and Kunal's cousin. She is very nice and cheerful. She is recently married to man called Saket. She is really close to Nimmo and Kunal.

KK: He is Kunal's butler. He often helps Kunal get out of trouble. He is one of the 5 people who knows that Kunal and Nimmo's marriage is a contract marriage. He is nice and sophisticated. He was the one who suggested the contract marriage idea to Kunal.

Oscar: He is Kunal's pet dog. Kunal loves Oscar very much and treats him like his child. Kunal and Nimmo met each other because of Oscar.

The not so important Sehgals (The members of the sehgal family who are rarely shown in the serial)
Raj Sehgal (Kunal's uncle): He is Amardeep Sehgal's youngest son and Varsha's husband. He is nice and sweet .He isn't shown a lot and hasn't had an important role to play in the story yet.

Abhay Sehgal(Kunal's cousin/Aniket's son): He is Kunal's cousin and Aniket Sehgal's younger son. He is very quiet and a wannabe rockstar. He doesn't have an important role to play in the story yet.

Nikita Sehgal(Kunal's cousin/Varsha's daughter): She is Kunal's cousin and daughter of Varsha Sehgal. She leads a double life. She acts all religious and quiet at home in front of the family members but smokes cigerattes, wears revealing clothes and visits discos and pubs without the knowledge of her family members. Nimmo is the only one who knows about Niki leading a double life.

Others:
Vikrant: He is very sweet, understanding and loving. He is Kunal's friend and employee and also a very good friend of Nimmo. Nimmo was in love with him once but hid her feelings when she found out that he was in love with her sister, Naina. Naina recently dumped him because is is not very rich and famous and he recently found out that Nimmo was once in love with him.

Natassha (Kunal's ex girlfriend): She is really nice and is not at all like the other 'K' serial vamps. She doesn't know that Kunal and Nimmo's marriage is a contract marriage and doesn't want to come between them. She is very sweet and is currently living in the Sehgal house on the invitation of Preet Sehgal. On the other hand, Nimmo is trying to reunite Kunal and Natassha but is falling in love with Kunal in the process.

Saket(Riti Sehgal's husband): He is recently married to Kunal's cousin, Riti. He is very loving, sweet and caring and loves Riti a lot.

Asontosh(Saket's elder brother): He is Saket's elder brother. He is also Swati's boss and tried to have an affair with her but Swati found out that he was married and left him.

Asontosh's wife: She is very sweet and nice lady. She blindly trusts her husband and is alien to the fact that Asantosh tried to woo Swati by hiding the fact the he was already married.

Bagwanji Bhai: He tried to fool Anand Mathuria and his family by doing a freud and taking over their house but Kunal paid him the money and returned the house back to Nimmo's family.
