Chapter IV

Ranbir was agitatedly pacing in his room. He had been trying to call Prachi since the last hour but her mobile was not reachable and Rhea was seriously getting on his nerves going on and on about Prachi. Finally when he couldn't take anymore he asked her to leave his room which was not taken upon kindly by the other party kindly who started throwing tantrums. He himself couldn't understand why he was behaving like this. It was unlike him. Here his crush was sitting beside him and he was worried about her. She had not even turned up for her tutions. He did not want to even think about that date. She was not that kind of person who would ditch her studies for her date. He decided to call Shahana to know abut her. "Hello Shahana. Prachi kaha h ? Use aaj mujhe tutor krna tha. Vo nhi ayi." Shahana replied,"Vo sorry Ranbir,Prachi ko aaj library me kaafi late ho gaya tha to vo abhi so rhi h . Don't you worry. Main Prachi ko bol dongi tmhe caal kr lene."

Rhea was really angry today. Ranbir ha thrown her out of his room . Who did he think he was? She was Rhea f****** Mehra . How dare he do that? On top of that her dad had heard about her plan to defame Prachi and had slapped her. Her father whose world started and ended at her had slapped her because of that girl . She would have her revenge but this time she decided to abide her time because she knew that her father would now be keeping a close eye on her. As for Ranbir he was only hers and no one else. and she was going to make sure of that.

Abhi was not in good mood. Rhea had really changed not for the best but for the worse. He had failed as a parent. Rhea had turned out just like Alia if not her then even worse. He didn't know if he should have been happy or sad that he had been able to stop the conspiracy or sad about the fact that his blood could stoop low. It was high time he took matter into his own hands. He had not raised her like this. He knew he had pampered and coddled her a lot and gave in to all her demands but he had not expected her to turn like this . She had tried to malign Prachi's reputation. Being a girl how could she do this that for jealousy and attention. She did not have an ounce of of the qualities that the woman who had given birth to her had possessed. He really missed her. Granted they had both behaved foolishly and but he still loved her a lot and missed his elder daughter a lot. He knew if Pragya would have been here his daughter would have never turned up like this. It was perhaps his mistake that in his bid to make the girl not miss her mother he had given in to all her whims and that had turned her like this. He wouldn't let her turn to another Alia and he would make sure that. It was high time his daughter got to see the real Abhishek Prem Mehra and not her father. As he was lost in these thoughts he saw a person waving and frantically shouting for help.

Alex and Kiara had reached home and had got to hear an earful from their maasi about not being in touch. Like mother like daughter. They were seriously like two peas in a pod. Prachi was the miniature version of his maasi. All the three of them where huddled together waiting for Prachi to reach home . Just then Prachi entered the room muttering to herself.

"Are Prachi! I knew you are mad and crazy but I still love you. No need to get jealous",said Alex and Pragya started shaking her head seeing their childish antics. These two really acted like kids who were always at each others throats but she knew that they would always stand with each and support each other. The four of them Prachi, Shahana ,Kiara and Alex were her world . She wouldn't have any other way. She often felt sad when she thought about him and her younger daughter. She just wished to meet them once so that she could hug her daughter to her heart's content. She had told Prachi about her sister and her father but had refrained from disclosing his name because knowing her daughter, she would have definitely searched for him and would have given him an earful about letting go off of her and her mother. She felt someone shake her out of her thoughts.

"Maa,Maa! Kha khyoi hui ho Alex aur Kiara tmhe kbse bula rhe h autr tm ho ki sunn h ni rhi h",said Prachi worried. "are Prachi kuch nhi beta. Aaj tmlog ko dekhkar tmhare papa au behen ki yaad aa gyi. Vo log bhi hamare saath aaj hote to bhut khush hote." said Pragya with tears in her eyes. Prachi knowing that her mother was hurting a lot inside decided to distract her and said,"Maa,vo log nhi h to kya hua Alex aur Kiara to h na?

Vo bhi to tmhare baache h na.Aur hm sb k rhte hue tm upset kaise rh skti ho. Chalo ab acche se smile kro aur Ansoo pocho." Prachi smiled at her daughter and said,"Kabhi kabhi sach me samajh nhi ata ki main tmhari maa hoon ya fir tm meri." "Are maasi ye kisi boodhi amma se kam thodi h?",said Alex earning a glare from Prachi at which Pragya started laughing. "Mission Accomplished",said Alex. "Dekho maasi ke chehre pe kitni badi smile aa gyi . Vaise Prachi vo ladka kaun tha jo mujhe aise ghoor ghoor k dekh rha tha jaise vo mera murder kr dega. If his eyes had the power to murder someone I would have died a thousand times."
