Chapter 2: The Turning Point...
It was 22nd December, the day of our picnic. The day for which we had been waiting for so long. A picnic to FUN TOWN. Aaliya had promised me that she will try and spend more time with me on the picnic. And luckily, I got to spend the whole picnic with her that too completely "alone." Unfortunately, Vishakha, another "old" friend of Aaliya had to share a seat with us cuz of lack of enough seats. She was too fat. I was bored cuz we were unable to talk cuz children were singing & making so much noise. So to pass my time, I constructed a poem for her in my mind,
Oh! how I love thee friend dear
Though thy eyes like frogs appear
Your body is so fat and round
Thy heavy footsteps shake the ground
And when thou speaketh people say
Now did we hear a donkey bray?
I was in peals of laughter while constructing it.

But then, something happened that proved the turning point in our friendship. She started reading Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. We had nicknames then. Mine Hermy, hers Clarisse. After she finished the series, our fights started. You'll laugh when you hear the reason. It was really a stupid reason & now I regret why I started those stupid fights that cost me a really valuable friend.The talks & fights on whatsapp:

Aaliya: When u'll read the PJ series, then
u'll get to know that PJ is loads
better than HP.

BB: Oh really? I'll read the series but still,
nothing can bebetter than my HP.

Aaliya: We'll see that, Medusa.😆

BB: Oh shut up! Sista of Medusa. 😡
PJ is just a stupid
demigod.

Aaliya: Ya, and HP a idiot wizard.
Bye forever, I won't talk to
u now.

BB: Oh thank u, I'll be grateful.

Of course, we talked to each other but we had a number of stupid fights like this on whatsapp. These fights continued when our friendship took another turn.

I am still thinking of how to end the story 😕
I don't think I'll patch them up cuz me & Tanvi had a really serious argument yesterday when I had gone to school to see my exam papers..
