now before I announce the winner here is the winning entry:
Kanya entered her bedroom, yawning. Everyone except Ranbir had left the house to go to a "jagratta." Kanya looked around for Ranbir but found no one. As she reached her bed, she saw a beautiful red dress waiting for her. Kanya picked it up and found a letter next to it. She opened the letter and saw Ranbir's familiar messy handwriting.
Kanya, between all our fights, I think I fell in love. Tumhe hamesha khud se door kerna chaha, lakein jab jab kiya tumhe dil ke aur paas paya. Tum mein ek ajab si kashish hai jo mujhe tumhare taraf keenchti hai. I've never felt this way before, aur ma'am sahiba, yeh sab aapka kamaal hai. Jahan bhi jaata hoon, lagta hai tumhari gali hai. Jahan bhi dekhta hoon, lagta hai tumhara chehra hai. Jo bhi sunta hoon, lagta hai tumhari awaaz hai. Aaine mein khud se zyada tumhara ehsaas paata hoon. Kya yeh pyar hai, Kanya? Shiyad...
Kanya smiled to herself. She picked up the dress and wore it, looking goregeous and stunning with her hair loosely open. Kanya slowly opened her bedroom door and walked downstairs, searching for Ranbir. "RANBIR" Kanya called. No answer. Everything was silent and dark. The moment she stepped on the stairs, though, the lights flickered on as Kanya spotted a male figure downstairs. She looked closely as a spotlight fell on the figure, Ranbir. Kanya smiled. "Ranbir?" She whispered.
Ranbir was holding a microphone. He held it upto his lips and slowly said,
"This is for very moment we've spent together, this is for every smile we've given to another. This is for every embrace we've shared, this is for everytime you've cared. This is for every little fight, this is for the restless nights. This is for me to let you know, that sweetheart..I love you and I can't live without you anymore..."
Kanya stared at him as he gave her a loving look. Staring into his eyes, she slowly walked downstairs. Ranbir bent down on his knees as Kanya put a hand to her mouth, surprised. She smiled as he took out a beautiful rose and placed it in front of her. "I Love You, Kanya Nanda," he said. "Ek mauka dho mujhe..aur main tumhe apni mohabbat se chaand se bhi sundar sajaa dhoon ga..Dunya ki har khushi tumhare aanchal mein samait dhoon ga..aur tumhari ek muskurahat mein..apna ashiyan basaa loon ga..." The song "Hum Tum" from Hum Tum came on as Kanya took the flower from him. She waved her hand over his face and whispered, "I love you, too, Ranbir." Ranbir grinned and stood up. He held her hand as they swayed to the song...

Mein Dalne Dho Zara...
Dheemi Si Dhadkan Ko
Badne Dho Zara...
Lamhoon Ki Guzarish Hai YEh...
Paas Ajayein..Hum...Hum Tum.."
Kanya and Ranbir stared into each other's eyes. He picked her up in his arms as she linked her arms around his neck. He slowly walked up the stairs with her, as the music continued to play.....
